What To Expect

The emblematic workshop of Maison Molinard. For one hour, accompanied by a perfume expert, you explore the structure of a fragrance, discover top, heart, and base notes, and compose your own creation from 90 essences. You leave with a unique 50 ml bottle marked by your olfactory personality. Please arrive on time for your session, any delay will result in the cancellation of your workshop.

What a fantastic and fun experience! We were thrilled with the entire process. Our "expert" Maiyane was the perfect mix of personal and professional and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. You actually create your own signature scent based on exploring the 90 option avaibe-- it is actually not as overwhelming as it sounds. we had a wonderful time and took advantage of the 20% discount on purchases afterward. The entire staff was helpful and I would highly recommend this expereince to anyone who wants to learn about perfune and make your own!. You can also order your "scent" anytime afterward ( they keep it for 10 years on file). A highlight of my trip!

The lady who was doing the workshop was so lovely. Spoke perfect English. Clear instructions and helped and gave advice when asked. We actually took slightly longer than the allotted hour to choose what to put in our perfume and then to make it, so it felt a little rushed at the end but maybe we were just slow, because the others on our table managed to finish within the hour. Good sized bottle to take home your perfume and you can reorder from home if you wish! Small museum and shop to look around afterwards. Great once in a lifetime experience and where better than in Grasse!

We had a very pleasant experience on this tour at the Perfumaria Moulinard; we started with a tour showing the entire history of the city and every process of perfume making. With the guidance of a perfumer we had the opportunity to learn and test our smell to develop an exclusive perfume that exceeded our expectations. We left happy with our creation that will always refer us to this happy day in this beautiful and charming city!

This was such a fun experience. You get to smell all sorts of notes, with a clear explanation at the beginning, and after picking your favorites the guide is like a wizard helping you mix notes to create your custom scent. Our guide Lea was amazing!

Really enjoyed this tour. The building and grounds are beautiful. Grasse was such a quaint town. The workshop was great. We could smell as many different notes as we wanted and could ultimately choose our favorites. The leader of the workshop helped us with ratios of which note would be best for the overall product. Loved that we could take the beautiful perfume home, they saved the formula for possible reorder, and we got 20% off purchases from the retail store. Even people in our group that don’t normally love perfume had a great time.
So fast it's stressful! Needs 90 minutes.

The space is beautiful, the teacher is nice, and you'll leave with a nice-smelling fragrance in a pretty bottle, but this experience is totally rushed--which makes it feel stressful and COMPLETELY cuts down on the fun. Fewer scent options and more staff are necessary to do this in an hour. Also, more explanation of scents/feelings, history, etc. would make this more interesting.

We were able to walk to the premises from the Best Western Hotel Grasse. The staff were friendly and were able to assist us through the perfume course in spoken English. The product we created was excellent and a perfect souvenir of our visit to Grasse.

Highly recommended. We got an explanation from Bella, who is a real connoisseur in perfume. She has the group well in hand and sublime in her profession. She gives the right advice when combining fragrances, can explain Molinard's history well and is pleasant to deal with.
