Summary: Don’t miss on this! When researching things to do in Ireland, obviously there is a lot of beautiful places to visit but I came across a YouTube channel Doolin tourism and got hooked instantly. The music, pubs, people, beautiful scenery, everything seemed perfect and believe me it was. I found about Pat and the walk there and booked it. It was a perfect experience, we got to meet wonderful Pat and Vincent and also our tour companions. The walk by itself is beautiful, but we also got to hear about the history of the place and some great stories. It’s clear the care that went into putting this together, I think we need more people like Pat in the world. And more Doolin! 😉

If you’re planning to visit the Cliffs of Moher, this is an experience I can’t recommend enough! Pat and Vincent were absolutely incredible guides. They both grew up and still live on family farms bordering the cliffs, so the hike truly felt like exploring their backyard with locals who know every inch of it. Their humor, storytelling, and local knowledge made the entire experience unforgettable. We were able to access areas not open to the general public, which made it feel so much more special and personal than simply visiting on our own. The tour was about $50 USD per person and worth every penny. We hiked 5 miles over about 4 hours, and even with the misty weather, the cliffs were still breathtaking and easy to see. Without a doubt, one of the highlights of our Ireland trip!

If you see all the five-star reviews here, believe them. If you came all the way to Ireland to see and walk the Cliffs of Moher, this is the only way to do it. Pat is a local farmer who got all his farmer neighbors to create a private walking path, and this is the only way to really see the Cliffs of Moher up close. Not only that, he’s a great guide-funny, personable, and with a huge heart. It’s a long tour, no bathroom stops, but otherwise you are stuck with busloads of tourists on a short path near the Visitor Center. Pat will lean over to get pics of puffins, you might see dolphins, you’ll see swimming coves and blowholes you can’t otherwise see. And, you’ll get local stories and help the local economy. The hike is pretty easy, all downhill, just wear proper shoes.

The guides were welcoming from the opening handshake. Their vibrant and comical personalities shined as much as the views. I cannot promote this tour by words alone. I'll be telling everyone I know that is planning a trip to Ireland to take this guided tour.

A breathtaking hike of the Cliffs! I was in such awe to see the natural beauty of the Cliffs of Moore, with their fascinating rock formations and even seeing where the various birds make their nests. Pat and Vincent were good guides, they even told us how they created the tour. Overall, I would recommend this to tour for anyone to really see the Cliffs of Moore because unlike most tours Pat and Vincent actually let you take your time to walk and see everything.

Pat and Vincent take you on not just a hike of the cliffs but a history of this beautiful country. While walking they keep you entertained and motivated with access to the most beautiful vistas of the Cliffs of Moher while telling you interesting anecdotes about living in this part of the country. Their charm and humor give you an insight into what it means to be Irish. Do Not Miss Out. Book. This. Activity. Now. You’ll be recommending it to all your friends.

It was not raining! Yeah! Pat and his partner Vincent were a great team. Due to last year's storm which damage much of the area, Pat redirected the path and made it truly a great experience for everyone. The stories of the past and present really made you understand more about Ireland. It was truly a down to earth experience that no one can do any better than Pat and Vincent. Thanks Pat for the coastal drive back to Galway, it was certainly easier than the switch back road.

It’s long hike over some uneven ground. Not for the faint of heart or young children. Nevertheless we enjoyed it very much, especially the stories and information from Vincent and Pat.
