Manuela speaks French very well and is very welcoming. His turn in Cluj is very interesting. She answered all our questions, showed us pictures in the Communist era of the places visited. We really recommend to all French!

Excellent and highly recommended walking tour, by a passionate guide, of key sights in Cluj related to the prior Communist regime. Manuela, our tour guide, first gave us a very good overview of Communism in Romania. We then walked to multiple sights with links to communism, where Manuela discussed key figures in Cluj's communist history, including the church's involvement. We also visited a communist-era market still in operation, and viewed a neighborhood with represenrarive communist building architecture and the apartment building with only one balcony that demonstrated communist thinking. The tour ended with a very good recommendation for a local neighborhood restaurant. Manuela's commentary, explanations and insights made rhis a perfect tour. Don"t miss out and book this when in Cluj!
