5.0Great experience. Views are lovely and we saw plenty of dolphins. Seats don’t get allocated until the day of travel so best to get there early to make your request. You can buy food and drinks on the train .. very yummy!

5.0It was a fantastic journey from start to finish. Comfortable seats Big viewing windows. Snacks and coffee Amazing scenery all the way. So close to the coast felt like we could touch it.

5.0Absolutely fantastic. Scenery was beautiful. We sat on the A/B side of the train from Christchurch to Picton and it had brilliant views. Would recommend to all that this is a must if staying on the South Island.

5.0Very comfortable journey. Attentive staff who are very accommodating. Excellent info on historic sites with a detailed story behind it. Looked after our luggage as we caught the interislander ferry. Highly recommend. Scenery is absolutely stunning.
