What To Expect
Timothy Hill
We pickup at Port Zante from the Smoke N Booze. We then begin your excursion as we tour towards FrigateBay. Your first stop is the breath taking Timothy Hill were we inhale the fresh mountain breeze over looking both the Atlantic sea and Caribbean sea at the same time for 10 minutes, We then continue your way to the Cockleshell beach as we sight the Atlantic sea and the home of Sundance Ridge situated, is a narrow strip of land that provides stunning panoramic view, own by Robert Redford. Guest will be assisted with umbrellas and chairs which are complementary. We pickup 5 hours later at the exact drop off location and take guest back to Port Zante to the ship.

Cockleshell Beach Trip with V&J Tours...RECOMMENDED

5.00V&J Tours organized and coordinated our excursion on St. Kitts for the day. Dujon was our host and was INCREDIBLE! There was only the four of us heading to Cockleshell Beach so it was like a private tour! Dujon gave us a tour of the island and sites on the drive along with some history. He was such a pleasure and was so timely on our day trip (plenty of time at the beach and time to board the ship). Dujon accompanied us to the Reggae Beach Bar & Grill and made sure that we had our reserved beach chairs and umbrellas. The Reggae Beach Bar & Grill had great service and food; just wish we would have tried the lobster! They were massive and looked amazing. Cockleshell Beach was nice and relaxing but I would only go through V&J Tours for setting things up for a no-hassle experience. Beach loungers had to be rented for the day but we didnt have to worry about that as it was taken care for us! The experience was truly one to see the island life and kick your feet back on the beach. One thing to note was there were some sea turtles feeding in the area which was amazing to see and swim with! There are a couple of watercraft anchored out from shore that kinda killed the view but that's the island life. We would highly recommend using V&J Tours for this beach excursion and hope that you get Dujon! Thank for an amazing time!

3.00The Beach was crowded. We had 2 chairs that were part of our excursion package and some guy tried to get us to pay $40 My husband had difficulty getting out of the water. We even saw a main literally crawl out on his hand and kneed.
Wonderful new other way to describe!

5.002 John was great took me and my family and another family to Cockle Shell Beach and ask what time we would like to be picked up and was right on time. He also took us on a little sightseeing tour while heading to our beach letting us get out to take photos of the mountains along with the Carribean see and narrated the entire time letting us know of the different things to do, showed us where Robert Redfords grand kids own homes on Sundance Hill. Very nice and friendly man, highly recommend him. If you read this 2 John my wife lost her i phone not sure if she left it there n your tour van?

2.00The overlook is ok. All the buses seem to stop there. I'm completely unsure why snorkeling is in the title of this excursion, but if you do want to see the sand under your feet (because you won't be watching fish) while in the water, you need to take your own gear. You're dropped off at Reggae Beach Bar. The beach is okay. The chairs are worn. You'll probably need to open your umbrella and be prepared for them to try to collect money for chairs a second time--eventually they recognize you've already paid. Honestly, just get a $10 one-way taxi--you'll ride with them anyway.
