This trip is a 90 min. relaxing cruise through the Cocoa Beach Thousand Islands, we watch the beautiful sunset and return back to the restaurant. This is perfect for a romantic trip or large groups.
The crew plays fun music! You will see wildlife along this journey. There is some narrative but the crew will be glad to answer any questions you may have and will point out animals and mammals along the way.

What To Expect
Cocoa Beach
Enjoy a Banana River sunset cruise with Island Boat Lines. The sunset cruise departs from the Sunset Waterfront Bar and Grill located waterfront on the Banana River in beautiful Cocoa Beach, Florida. This fun and romantic 90 min boat ride will cruise through the Cocoa Beach Thousand Islands before entering the Banana River where you will be able to have the best view of the Sunset. The Captain and mate will play fun music for you to enjoy during the ride. Be sure to bring your camera to capture the spectacular sunset as well as birds, playful dolphin and manatees you may encounter during your excursion. There is no narrative included on this excursion. The ride is a perfect way to begin your evening at the Sunset Waterfront Bar & Grill where you can keep your party going with live music and full dinner service. We are Family Friendly!

It was my fiancé birthday and we just enjoyed the scenery the ride the weather and just the over all experience!! Thank you all for even taking the time to do this!!! Absolutely amazing job

5.00My husband and I had a great time on the Sunset Cruise with Captain Andrew and Diane. We learned about the area and wildlife in the area and took some beautiful photos. I would definitely recommend it. Diane and Andrew were lots of fun. If we are ever back in Cocoa Beach, we will be booking another trip.

Loud music dominates sunset cruise

4.00Unfortunately our excursion was delayed for 30 minutes due to a couple of visible storms coming from the west. I would have preferred that the trip be canceled but it wasn’t and for much of the trip it rained on us, and of course the sunset was not visible. The crew provided some ponchos which helped, but it didn’t appear that there were enough for everyone and my husband and I had to share one. That said, the captain and guide were knowledgeable about the area and they did bring us home safely. I certainly understand that the crew could not be blamed for the weather, but it did seem like they were just trying to avoid a full cancelation. My main complaint about the excursion was the inclusion of music played through the speakers. I was expecting a quiet peaceful excursion through the mangroves with a nice sunset and the potential to see some wildlife. I felt that the music distracted from the peacefulness, and in fact encouraged some of the guests to behave as if they were at a party or in a club. I know they were just having a good time, but this was not advertised as a “party cruise” and if I had been I would not have chosen it. Again, the crew and captain were polite and knowledgable, but the “vibe” of the excursion was not what I expected. If you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful sunset/nature excursion - this one is not for you.

4.00My wife and I had a wonderful time on the sunset tour—it was truly a delightful experience from start to finish. The length of the tour felt just right, giving us plenty of time to relax and take in the beautiful views without feeling rushed. The highlight of the experience was definitely Pat and Steve. They worked seamlessly as a team and made the tour both enjoyable and engaging. Their professionalism and friendly personalities really stood out and added to the overall experience. If I had one small critique, it would be the seating, which wasn’t the most comfortable for the duration of the tour. However, it didn’t take away too much from what was otherwise a fantastic outing. Overall, we would absolutely recommend this sunset tour to others looking for a memorable and enjoyable experience.

5.00Karen was very informative and fun as well as our captain - with his dad jokes! We went on the sunset cruise. Unfortunately we did not see dolphins, but did see manatees! Learned a lot about the land.
