This trip is a 90 min. relaxing cruise through the Cocoa Beach Thousand Islands, we watch the beautiful sunset and return back to the restaurant. This is perfect for a romantic trip or large groups.

The crew plays fun music! You will see wildlife along this journey. There is some narrative but the crew will be glad to answer any questions you may have and will point out animals and mammals along the way.

Enjoy a Banana River sunset cruise with Island Boat Lines. The sunset cruise departs from the Sunset Waterfront Bar and Grill located waterfront on the Banana River in beautiful Cocoa Beach, Florida. This fun and romantic 90 min boat ride will cruise through the Cocoa Beach Thousand Islands before entering the Banana River where you will be able to have the best view of the Sunset. The Captain and mate will play fun music for you to enjoy during the ride. Be sure to bring your camera to capture the spectacular sunset as well as birds, playful dolphin and manatees you may encounter during your excursion. There is no narrative included on this excursion. The ride is a perfect way to begin your evening at the Sunset Waterfront Bar & Grill where you can keep your party going with live music and full dinner service. We are Family Friendly!

Great way to kick off vacationing in the area. A must do tour! Saw allot of dolphins during the tour ( bonus) and enjoyed the beautiful sunset. Very informative!

There was a bit of information about birds and other wildlife plus we spotted some different birds and dolphins; however most of the time there was good background music. The sunset was blocked by clouds, not the operator’s fault. I would have enjoyed more information about the area or possibly free drinks or snacks.

Intimate cruise with 9 people. Captain & Firstmate informative & friendly. Knowledgeable about area & wildlife. Pointed out interesting habits of local birds. Saw quite a few dolphins but sadly the manatees, we were informed, have left the Banana River due to water temperature.

It was a fun trip. Learned a lot about the development of the area and the importance of the mangroves. Saw some dolphins and learned they are not the same as ocean dolphins.

If you’re planning a visit to the Kennedy Space Center, do yourself a favour and make the short drive down to Cocoa Beach for the Cocoa Beach Sunset Tour. This was one of the unexpected highlights of our entire trip! The tour is timed perfectly to catch a beautiful Florida sunset, but what really stood out were our guides, Steve and Pat. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the local wildlife and waterways. Their commentary made the whole experience even more memorable. We were lucky enough to have several close-up encounters with dolphins and saw plenty of local birdlife against the perfect sunset and bright orange sky. If you’re looking for something relaxing yet unforgettable to round off your day, this is a must-do and the perfect alternative retreat away from the Orlando Parks.

Diane & Captain Brian were perfect hosts & narrators for our cruise. They were engaging and answered all of our questions. Diane is quite the photographer, offering to take many pictures for us.
