What To Expect
Valle del Cocora
take our clients to the beautiful cocora valley where they can walk it either on foot or on a horse ride, where they can observe the wax palm being the tallest palm in the world, which was declared a national tree of Colombia, being in the Cocora Valley the only place in the world where it grows. Also we can have sighting with the condor of the Andes the national bird of our country. In addition to observing stunning landscapes and native forests.
Salento
Salento is a town full of magic colors and a beautiful architecture where our customers can enjoy walking their streets, they can know their real street where they can do if they want some shopping as souvenirs for having visited such a beautiful place, at the end of their street real meet the stairs to climb to the viewpoints which once up can have a beautiful view of the entire town of Salento and the central mountain range

4.00Useful way to see all three areas in a short day. Competent and friendly young driver, but he had limited English and left us to explore on our own. It worked out fine and we were happy to see both towns and the Valley. The scenery was spectacular.

5.00Our driver was really amazing, friendly and service oriented. He showed quite some flexibility on the itinerary since we decided to make some changes to the original plans. He knew the surroundings very well, was punctual and had a good quality car at our disposal. I would recommend this tour to everyone.

Transportation not a tour

3.00The word “tour” is very misleading. In reality this is transportation provided to 3 locations and the driver asks you to text him when you are ready to move from one place to the next. Our driver was very nice but his English was limited and he gave us almost no information about the places we visited. If you just need a private car to drive this from place to place this is fine. If you want a real tour with an English speaking guide who provides information about the places visited, look elsewhere….

4.00The tour is a private car with a driver, though the driver was very nice he did not provide us with much information and we had to go find him when we were ready to leave Cócora. Apparently he had not parked in the designated area and the locals in the area did not appreciate it. We did, however, appreciate his flexibility. Our toddler had enough after Salento so we stayed there a bit longer and skipped Filandia. It’s not a tour as much as it’s a hired driver.

5.00Would highly recommend taking a day and doing the Cocora, Salento and Filandia tour. All the places were beautiful. The tour is private and flexible to meet your needs. You get to choose how much time you'd like to spend in each place. The guide is really great and personable guy also!

1.00I don't recommend this tour at all. I booked it 2 weeks before my trip and I decided to pick this company because of the "guided tour in ENGLISH!". Once I arrived in Armenia - Colombia, I had to contact the phone number I saw in the link and this person said that he was too busy and that he never saw the payment. The payment was taken from my credit card the same day I booked the tour. After 3 hours of waiting, he contacted me saying that he was going to send someone to pick us up and that he could accommodate the time according to our preference (how nice). The next day, I was contacted by another person, (transportation company), and he said he was going to be our guide for the day. After speaking with him, he mentioned he didn't have details of anything, he also said he was a third company involved and he said he didn't speak English. I tried to contact the person in charge several times, but he never responded to my phone calls, and he just texted me saying that he had accommodated the tour based on our time preference and he was trying to help, for my perspective he was trying to make his problem my problem now! He never called me, just texted. I feel I've been ripped off, I'm completely disappointed and I need my money to be reimbursed ASAP. Tripadvisor is a globally recognized company, this is not the first time I use this website and I never had a problem before, I'm confident I won't have issues with Tripadvisor taking care of my case and reimbursing my money ASAP. Thanks
