Cocora
Cocora Valley, in Salento (one of the places that belong to the Coffee Triangle) is one of the few entrance areas to Los Nevados National Natural Park, an environmentally protected park of snowy peak mountains. Besides, the valley was considered as Coffee Cultural Landscape of Colombia Heritage Site by UNESCO. Hike through this magic valley and enjoy some of the best views of the world. Be sure to have your cellphone fully charged, we know you’ll want to take pictures of the amazing nature. And, if you suddenly get caught by the mists and winds, don’t worry about it, that’s how weather tends to be, and it will only make the landscapes look even more magical.
Salento
Salento and the Cocora Valley will show you their best natural spots along with their traditional coffee farms and the warm people who take care of the territory. It is a great combination. So, believe us when we say it is one of those Colombian natural treasures you can’t miss.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience with this company. It was a beautiful day for a walk, and Kevin, my guide, made it even better. He was a young guy and incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and generous with his advice (even when hiking up a hill!). The walk through Cocora Valley was stunning, and Kevin made the whole experience feel relaxed, engaging, and personal. After the walk, Kevin took me to a coffee plantation, where I joined one of their coffee tours and was added to a small group led by Marlon. The group itself was a lovely mix of people, and Marlon was outstanding, extremely knowledgeable, entertaining, and clearly very experienced. The whole operation ran smoothly and felt like a very slick, well-organised tour. Overall, I had an amazing time and learnt so much throughout the day. Highly recommend this tour company to anyone visiting the area!

We had an amazing experience on the Cocora Valley, Salento and Coffee Farm Tour and would 100% recommend it. The landscapes in Cocora Valley are truly breathtaking, and the visit to the coffee farm was both fun and very informative. Our guide, Pedro, made the day exceptional. He has excellent knowledge of both history and local flora, and he shared it in a way that was clear, engaging and never boring. During the hike he constantly pointed out different plants and trees, explained the importance of the wax palms and the ecosystem, and answered every question with patience and depth. The logistics were smooth (transportation, timing, breaks), and I always felt well taken care of. The coffee farm visit at the end was the perfect way to finish the day: we learned a lot about the coffee-making process and got to taste great local coffee. Overall, a perfectly organized tour in a stunning area, made truly memorable by Pedro’s professionalism and impressive knowledge. Fully deserves 5/5.

This tour was hands-down, one of the best we’ve ever taken in our entire lives! I cannot say enough good things about our tour guide Juan Camilo Robledo. His English was the best of any tour guide we had in Colombia. He was DEEPLY knowledgeable about the Cocora Valley, its fauna, its flora, and its beauty. He had a positive attitude, took breaks for us, and kept us entranced. He also spotted the famous CONDOR when so many other guides did not. He gave amazing recommendations for things to do in the town and made us laugh and feel like we had made a new friend in Colombia. Truly amazing hospitality and guiding. If you get him, you will have an AMAZING experience! Plus the willys ride is SO COOL! Just be ready to hike and definitely wear the correct shoes and bring a rain jacket.

Juan Manuel was an excellent guide, providing great history and a wide range of anecdotes about the flora and plant life in Valle de Corcora. The coffee plantation tour at Luger was well run as well, comprehensive and interactive, fun for both adults and teenagers. As a native to the area, he had great insight ant recommendations of things to do and where to eat.
