We wanted to go to the coffee country while we were in Colombia. Not because we're huge coffee fans, but we wanted to bring some back for friends and have some on hand for visitors. Our driver picked us up in Bogota and we made our way to Hacienda Coloma. He gave us options on the way, we could take the scenic mountain route or the highway. When we got to Fusa, Hacienda Coloma was tucked away behind some gates. It's like a beautiful oasis in the city. They have a place where you can stay, which looked really cool. The tour outfits you with hats and baskets while on the tour. While on the tour we explored the gardens and learned how to spot ripe coffee berries. One we picked berries, we learned about the harvesting process. From there, we moved inside to learn about the roasting process. Our tour ended up in the shop where we could buy coffee, liquor, and souvenirs. After the tour, we headed back to Bogota. We stopped on the way back for lunch. Since our guide was a vegetarian, he pointed me to pescatarian friendly options.

A great experience learning about the coffee process from the seed to sitting down for a good cup of coffee. The farm is beautifully organized with a very pleasant natural environment. The transportation and the guides Samuel and José are excellent. 100% recommended.

It was a very interesting and immersive experience, even for a non-coffee drinker. I learned a lot about the coffee process. Fusa was a beautiful little town. The guide was very informative. The driver who took us to the plantation was very knowledgeable and helpful.

It was amazing experience. Driver picked me up at 8 am and we drove to coffee farm. Roads were super busy and it was raining. My driver Angel was extremely nice and experienced. When we got there I had tour with the person from the farm. He was knowledgeable and he explained the whole process great. I was amazed with everything on the farm. After that we were in the way to Bogata. We had a great lunch. Angel was telling me about the food and culture. I am very happy that I booked this trip. I want to thank my tour guide and the driver Angel for making me feel comfortable and safe. I recommend this trip. Thank you Angel.
