The Daniels were excellent guides. They were knowledgeable and answered all questions thoroughly. In addition, the farm is located with wonderful views of the Andes and surrounding parts of Jardin. You get to see the process of the bean from flower to drying and it is very interactive. You finish with fresh coffee and homemade pastries. Daniel is a master of his craft and they were both so welcoming and enjoyable to spend time with! I highly recommend this tour!

We had an excellent visit at Finca Mariposa with Daniel and his English guide (also named Daniel). The location and the farm are beautiful. The guides did an excellent job explaining the farming, harvesting and treatment process. We got to pick coffee beans and understand the daily activities on the farm. It makes you appreciate all of the work that goes into growing coffee, the life of farming, and the commitment to producing an excellent product. We learned so much, and tasted the difference of a single-origin, arabica bean coffee. The experience changed the way we think about coffee, and what we will buy and drink when we return to the United States.

An unforgettable experience. Both Daniel (Finca translator and manager) were very interesting, answering questions raised by their precise explanations but which led to requests for further information. A very friendly welcome. A human-scale Finca where we were able to pick coffee beans ourselves and follow the various subsequent steps. Coffee and pastry at the end. We bought coffee that we will enjoy back home thinking about this exceptional morning.
