This was such a great experience! I love that it was unique and different than your average Caribbean tour. Zach was an amazing tour guide. He was great fun and knew a lot about the cave and Barbados in general. Zach had a great sense of humor, which made the tour fun! There are some technical aspects of the tour, especially the climb down into the cave. I wouldn’t say it was overly physically demanding as our 13 year old and 15 year old did it. There are just spots you need to take your time and be careful. However, our guide kept us safe. Explore this cool cave, swim in pristine pools, bathe with natural shampoo and see some bats! You won’t regret it!

This is a unique off the beaten track experience not for the faint hearted! You feel like Indiana Jones as you descend the ropes and scramble through the cave. Wading through pools and admiring the bats, and the part where we turned our head torches off and just sat in the dark and stillness of the cave was magical. Zach is probably the best tour guide I’ve ever had. He goes completely out his way to ensure all his guests needs are met and having a good time. Wish I could come back for more!

I definitely recommend this activity! If you looking for a memorable experience, this is the activity to do. Zach is very friendly and knowledgeable about plants, animals and history of Barbados. He is also good to give instructions to keep us safe all during the activities. We hope to do more activities with Zach on the next days. Thank you again Zach, we will remember this experience for always!

One of our top experiences in the island. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, we bathed using shower tree leaves alongside putting a volcanic mud face mask which was fun! We saw lots of bats and we were not rushed at all throughout. We swam in the running water inside and had snacks in our break. Definitely coming back, thank you Zach for the experience!

My husband and I took our young adult daughter and two of her friends on this tour and we all had a lot of fun with Zac. He carefully and safely guided us through the cave and we even had a ‘spa day’ in there - using the cave mud as a mud mask and washing it off 20 mins later in an underground waterfall, then washing our hair with leaves from the shampoo tree which we squished up in our hands to make all natural shampoo. We also climbed, crawled and waded through water (sometimes chest deep) and got to see bugs and bats. Not your standard Caribbean island activity (!) but definitely a trip highlight. Zac then went with us for some lunch with us at his favourite local rum shop - a great way to end the tour :)

I’ve visited Barbados a few times and even toured Harrison’s Cave, but nothing compared to this spelunking adventure. I wanted something more challenging and new to share with my partner, and this was it! Our guide, Zach, was THE BEST! He was thorough and attentive, stopping often to explain the island’s geology and even pointing out native plants like the pop-a-gun tree, whose leaves double as natural soap and shampoo. From the moment he led us down into the gully toward the cave entrance, he told us what to watch for, so the trip was fun and safe. We paused at different spots inside the cave to take it all in, but my favorite moment was gathering clay for detoxifying face masks. Between that and Zach’s guidance, we were so busy having fun and trusting the process that nerves never really set in (Okay, the bats darting around overhead gave us a little pause, but we left them alone, and they returned the favor lol). What really stood out was how this adventure tapped into my inner child. I grew up loving the outdoors and playing in the mud, and this felt like rediscovering that joy all over again. It was unforgettable for both me and my partner and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking to challenge themselves and try something different. Zach truly made it an experience we’ll never forget!

Let me just start by saying that the cave itself was cool…. However, this tour was messed up from the get go. I prepaid for this tour through Viator about a month or so before the actual scheduled tour. The day before our scheduled tour I reached out to the “tour company” to find out what time we would be picked up. Zach, our tour guide, and later informed, the owner of the company apparently let our booking “fall through the cracks.” He ultimately had to reschedule our tour for 4 days later and we were told it would cost us an additional $80 for him to pick us up and drop us off at our hotel. This is not mentioned in the tour description. We decided to go ahead and he said he would pick us up at 1pm on July 29th. 1pm turned into 2pm when he picked us up in a little 4 door Mitsubishi. It was us and another couple. So Zach was a hour late then when we get on our way, he immediately stops at a store for some items. One of which was a large bottle of juice, which he drank in the car and down in the cave. We later found out that he actually added rum to his juice and it was apparent that he was pretty buzzed on the drive back. We didn’t get to the cave until after 3pm. I will say, Zach was very knowledgeable about the botany and geology of the cave. He also kept us safe and no one was injured. Our tour, which was supposed to get us back to the hotel by 6pm, didn’t get us back until 8pm and we ended up missing our dinner reservations. I would not recommend going spelunking with this tour company.

This is an unmatched high thrill adventure in Barbados! When else do you have a chance to descend into a cave system and walk along an underground river? My family (hubby and 3 kids ages 14, 11, and 8) toured the cave with Zach from Wild Barbados on a rainy day. One of the best parts was making it to the cathedral space with water pools are around you and taking in the mystery and awe of the space. We all enjoyed the tour very much. Zach is knowledgeable and had a great way with our kids. We loved this tour so much that we went on an East Coast driving tour with Zach the next day!

Zach's tour down Cole's Cave is absolutely EPIC! This is a truly unique experience for curious souls in Barbados. Zach's combo of humour, knowledge and excitement throughout the entire experience made this Wild adventure a highly memorable one. We will be back for more for sure!

The cave was so fun! We learned a lot about the local plant and wildlife, had fun climbing over obstacles, and spent a lot of time exploring in the open chamber at the end.
