  I had a wonderful experience at Ports of Call restaurant at Taj Samudra. The service was exceptional, especially thanks to Dilhara, who was incredibly attentive and professional. I thoroughly enjoyed the freshly prepared dishes crafted by Chef Vipin—each one was a delight!

  7/7 24 - Went with family for lunch buffet to Port of Call. Wide variety of food spread as much as they were all tasty. Excellent atmosphere. The waiters serving at every station were so willing to provide us what we asked for. The waiters serving at the tables are very attentive and very pleasant and did their duty very diligently. All the Managers on duty were extra vigilant about the customers needs. Excellent spread of the dessert section especially the waiter at the ice cream cart offering nice choices of cones. The Chef, Prasantha Perera I spoke to was very generous to bring me something that I had asked for. They do rounds talking to people and checking how they can be of service to the customers. It is my first time for the Sunday brunch and I would highly recommend the Sunday brunch to friends and family as they serve cocktails on the house too. It provides a nice atmosphere and live music which can be a little soft allowing people to chat to their friends. It was a birthday treat that I had given to my sisters in advance as I won't be around and everyone's comments were very positive about the food spread and the tastiness. Glad I chose Ports of Call for the birthday treat!

  Had lunch at Golden Dragon restaurant at Taj Samudra Colombo. The food was delicious and service was excellent. The dishes recommended by the staff was amazing specially the black pepper beef curry. Special mention of Kasun Lasantha and Vijith who saw that we enjoyed the food and were very attentive. We enjoyed the food very much.

  The best ! My husband is Sri Lankan so we visit this beautiful country at least once year. We have tried many of the hotels in Colombo and around Sri Lanka and the Taj is one of our favorites. This stay we stayed in Shang Ri La as well and while it is lovely and wonderful, Taj is our favorite.
