Colon

Colón was founded in 1850 by the Panama Railroad Company, on the swampy island of Manzanillo, originally called Aspinwall by the company. Within the city of Colón, we have several sites such as the Casco Antiguo de Colón, or Cristóbal, the latter created by the French canal company. As well as public spaces such as Paseo Washington and Paseo Lesseps. Also, within this historic center, some buildings are declared monuments, such as the Episcopal Church, Cristo a Orillas del Mar, the Washington Hotel, and the Morgan Battery at Fort Lesseps. we will be visiting all these places listed above on this wonderful experience

Paseo Marino

It is a promenade that runs through part of the city of Colon and contains healthy recreation areas for children and adults, bicycle paths and even a plaza for people who like to practice "skating." From this privileged place you can see the ships waiting to enter the Panama Canal and those heading towards the enormous port of Manzanillo with merchandise from all over the world.

It was a wonderful experience, Roderick was very personable, knowledgeable and a joy to have as our Tour Guide. We felt like he was a part of our family. At lunch he had the Banjo Player sing Happy Birthday to my daughter, special ordered vegetarian meals for two of us. The lunch was very tasty.

Our tour guide Roderick was knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely patient with everyone. He explained the history of the Canal, answered all our questions, and made the entire journey smooth and enjoyable. The company was well-organized from start to finish, providing great transportation, clear communication, and a memorable experience for our whole group. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Panama!

A wonderful tour. This was a great way to visit a part of Panama that few visitors experience. Roderick and Carlos were excellent, full of knowledge and passion for the town. Not once did I feel unsafe. Recommend to anyone interested in experiencing the non-touristy, authentic aspects of Panama.

My experience started off with Rigoberto, very pleasant and engaging young man. the hour drive to & fro flew by quickly. In Colon Ivan was awesome taking us around. The Port was amazing. He even took time to give us a quick visit to the Duty Free Zone. Then the food was very tasteful & cooked with love. Must try Cafe Portobelo.

This was one of the best trips that I could ever have taken while I was in Panama. Roderick came to pick us up with his great enthusiasm throughout the entire trip. Showed us places in Colon City that we thought was interesting and exciting. He also adjusted the trip to our liking and showed us what we asked for during the trip.

Anyone touring as a couple (although he does have a larger vehicle for larger groups) in Panama needs to make sure CHARLIE LOMBARD is your tour guide. He was so knowledgeable and made sure we saw everything. We encountered quite a few "not so honest" tour/taxi people at the port in Colon. Charlie definitely knows how to treat his guests. We had a blast with you, Charlie, and definitely want you to show us more of Panama!!!

Our experience in Columbus was wonderful with our guide Rigoberto. The whole tour we had fun and learned a lot, about this place with so much courage and history. We enter the city and live a very different tourism than usual: Rigoberto took us to taste delicious food, to tour some streets and emblematic places and to know the trade. We recommend this place and our guide!
