Meet your guide in Via del Colosseo nr 31, in front of Caffe Roma, above the second floor of the Colosseum metro stop(blue line).
Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
The tour reservations have strict timing. To join the tour you are required to be at the meeting point for check-in at least 30 minutes prior to your tour departure time.
If you arrive late for the meeting time, it will not be possible to join the group or reschedule, unless you pay for the activity again. As per "No Show" rules you will not be entitled to a refund.
Please provide an active phone number during the booking process in order to be contacted about last minute changing.
Pets are not allowed inside the venue
Every participant MUST bring an id or a photo of it. It is mandatory requested by the monument in order to enter the Colosseum Underground.
Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
The tour might begin either the Roman Forum or the Colosseum, depending on the order.
If you’re traveling with a school group, this tour isn’t available, as school groups have their own dedicated ticket types. Please contact us for more information.

What To Expect
You will meet your guide at Via del Colosseo, 31. Our check-in staff will be waiting for you next to a blue flag and next to Caffe Roma, under the plate 31 of the street.
Foro Romano
Just west of the Colosseum is the Roman Forum, which for many centuries was the place where the future of the ancient western civilization was decided. We will also provide you with access to the Roman Forum and you will still be under the careful attention of our expert guide. Although today the Roman Forum stands in ruins, for many reigns it was at the very center of Rome’s activities. It started as a marketplace for daily shopping, but as the power of the Empire grew, it became much more important. In this part of the tour, you will explore the remnants of ancient grandiose temples, bustling marketplaces, and imposing civic buildings. We will also show you the place where Rome first began—on Palatine Hill. Rome’s ancient existence has earned it the name “the Eternal City,” and its time as the ruling city of the lands bordering the Mediterranean Sea has earned it the designation “Capital of the World.”

2.00Joined an English-speaking tour; the tour guide, Maria, didn’t speak English well. We had a hard time understanding her throughout the entire tour. Because she couldn't communicate well, we almost missed the location to meet her at the next destination. She was very pleasant but not an effective communicator. We feel like we missed tons of informative material. But we still had a wonderful time.

4.00Our guide (Joe) was very fun and informative. The radio devices they have were kind of spotty so sound was in and out - not the guides fault but the company who resources them. The check in process left a bit to be desired, the name of the operator was not the same as the name who was completing the check in. They host many tours from the check in spot and use stickers to differentiate, then call the stickers as your tour starts. This confused a lot of people, maybe just have a sign with each sticker to know where to go after check in. The tour itself was very interesting, saw the underground (which I thought would be more than it was), but still great to explore the entire place. After underground we went to the stage are and then went to the next floors. Then over to the Roman forum, the guide took us to an elevated location overlooking the entire forum and he gave great overviews of each of the locations and the history and significance of each. In my eyes, the logistics of the check in and the radio devices could be better but the tour itself was very great and overall worth it.
