The tour reservations have strict timing. To join the tour you are required to be at the meeting point for check-in at least 30 minutes prior to your tour departure time.
If you arrive late for the meeting time, it will not be possible to join the group or reschedule, unless you pay for the activity again. As per "No Show" rules you will not be entitled to a refund.
Please provide an active phone number during the booking process in order to be contacted about last minute changing.
Pets are not allowed inside the venue
Every participant MUST bring an id or a photo of it. It is mandatory requested by the monument in order to enter the Colosseum Underground.
Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
The tour might begin either the Roman Forum or the Colosseum, depending on the order.
If you’re traveling with a school group, this tour isn’t available, as school groups have their own dedicated ticket types. Please contact us for more information.
Purchasing the guided tour, you are acknowledging and consenting that the Colosseum Underground admission fee is 24 € for adults, along with a 2 € booking fee, and free entry for children under 18. The remaining amount covers professional licensed tour guide along with other services, headsets, booking fees, and tour amenities. The tour operator provides transparency and is looking to ensure your understanding of the cost breakdown, enabling you to fully appreciate the value of the guided tour.

Roman Forum
Just west of the Colosseum is the Roman Forum, which for many centuries was the place where the future of the ancient western civilization was decided. We will also provide you with access to the Roman Forum and you will still be under the careful attention of our expert guide. Although today the Roman Forum stands in ruins, for many reigns it was at the very center of Rome’s activities. It started as a marketplace for daily shopping, but as the power of the Empire grew, it became much more important. In this part of the tour, you will explore the remnants of ancient grandiose temples, bustling marketplaces, and imposing civic buildings. We will also show you the place where Rome first began—on Palatine Hill. Rome’s ancient existence has earned it the name “the Eternal City,” and its time as the ruling city of the lands bordering the Mediterranean Sea has earned it the designation “Capital of the World.”

2.00Location of starting point was hard to find. Tour started late and we were rushed through the first part. It was extremely hard to understand what the guide was saying due to the equipment. Overall extremely disappointed.

5.00I thought I knew the Colosseum by viewing it on TV and films but nothing compares to the reality of going and seeing the Colosseum in person. This was an epic tour. I’ve never done a guided visit and I absolutely love how enthusiastic and informative Chris our guide was the only complaint would be I think the instructions need to be updated because it said that the tour guides would be wearing T-shirt that said the ultimate Italy but they weren’t so that caused a bit of confusion also it was a little bit late for them to arrive. They should be there for 10:30 but they didn’t actually come until almost 10:45 and everyone was getting a bit angst waiting however once the tour got going we received our mics and headphones we were under Chris guidance and I’m so grateful that he was fun and informative. He really gave a new perspective to what I thought I knew definitely would recommend seeing the underground seeing the arena is one thing but going underground and getting a glimpse of the realities of what the gladiators must’ve gone through, especially knowing that so many of them were forced and enslaved. It really does make it palpable walking through history. It’s a historic monument. It’s sheer size is hard to comprehend. I would definitely recommend this tour and I would go again.

5.00The tour was excellent. Elizabeta was incredibly knowledgeable. She kept the information at a great pace (not overloaded) and answered so many questions. The Forum and the underground of the Colosseum was such a better experience because of our tour guide! Highly recommend!!
