Meet your guide in Via del Colosseo nr 31, in front of Caffe Roma, above the second floor of the Colosseum metro stop(blue line).
Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
The tour reservations have strict timing. To join the tour you are required to be at the meeting point for check-in at least 30 minutes prior to your tour departure time.
If you arrive late for the meeting time, it will not be possible to join the group or reschedule, unless you pay for the activity again. As per "No Show" rules you will not be entitled to a refund.
Please provide an active phone number during the booking process in order to be contacted about last minute changing.
Pets are not allowed inside the venue
Every participant MUST bring an id or a photo of it. It is mandatory requested by the monument in order to enter the Colosseum Underground.
Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
The tour might begin either the Roman Forum or the Colosseum, depending on the order.
If you’re traveling with a school group, this tour isn’t available, as school groups have their own dedicated ticket types. Please contact us for more information.

What To Expect
You will meet your guide at Via del Colosseo, 31. Our check-in staff will be waiting for you next to a blue flag and next to Caffe Roma, under the plate 31 of the street.
Foro Romano
Just west of the Colosseum is the Roman Forum, which for many centuries was the place where the future of the ancient western civilization was decided. We will also provide you with access to the Roman Forum and you will still be under the careful attention of our expert guide. Although today the Roman Forum stands in ruins, for many reigns it was at the very center of Rome’s activities. It started as a marketplace for daily shopping, but as the power of the Empire grew, it became much more important. In this part of the tour, you will explore the remnants of ancient grandiose temples, bustling marketplaces, and imposing civic buildings. We will also show you the place where Rome first began—on Palatine Hill. Rome’s ancient existence has earned it the name “the Eternal City,” and its time as the ruling city of the lands bordering the Mediterranean Sea has earned it the designation “Capital of the World.”

5.00Absolutely brilliant. We opted for the underground tour. Our group was small with only 10 people in total. The guide was extremely friendly and informative. The tour was well paced with ample opportunities for photo stops which didn’t feel rushed. I panicked looking for the location to meet as I get anxious with timings. We found the easiest way to get to the meet spot was via the white stairs opposite the colosseum just past and on the same side as the metro station, you turn left at the top of the stairs and caffe Roma is just there. The views of the colosseum especially early in the morning were great from the meet spot. 10/10 recommend - don’t be put off by the price tag it was incredible and we accessed all areas. The guide also leaves you in the Roman forum at the end of the tour and you can stay in there as long as you like.

5.00Our guide was so knowledgeable. Not only was I amazed by the architectural aspects but I learned so much history. If you did a self guided tour you may have more time to browse around but having guide is great because you can ask questions.

3.00Colosseum Tour wasn't professional at all. Tour operator sent our group down to the colosseum unaccompanied which meant wasting time trying to find where to go. Colosseum guide eventually arrived and barely able to speak english. Am sure she was very good, just lacked the language skills. A friend went on the identical tour half an hour after us and had a completely different experience, their group was accompanied from the meeting point to the colosseum and their guide had a good grasp of English. By comparison, Sara, our lovely guide to ancient Rome was passionate and really knowledgeable, had a fascinating couple of hours on her tour and thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
