During a 3 hours walking tour you will find out all the details related to communism as a doctrine and how it shaped the life of people by slowly stripping them of pride, individuality, religion and cultural identity. We will also visit important communist landmarks and you can observe, with the help of old pictures, how communism managed to change completely the aspect and architecture of Bucharest. Palace of Parliament
You will find out the amazing facts about The Palace of Parliament, why and how it was built and all about Ceausescu's crazy dream. We do not enter inside the building.
Manastirea Antim
A monastery built in 18th century, that escaped from the demolition done during communism and a part of it was actually moved entirely just to fulfill the big plans of the dictator.

5.00Our guide was very good and interesting explaining the chronology of how Romania became communist and the consequences for the people. We saw the important landmarks and went to the Communist museum. We had both an explanation of the museum and enough time to explore the small museum on our own. The tour gave more insight into what occurred in Romania then just going to the museum on your own and the length was just right.
