    There is no one else who can take you around and explain the history and culture of Medellin than Diego. You will learn a lot about history, instead of just being taken from one place to another.

    The comuna 13 and Pablo Escobar tour with SAT tour was incredible. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Went on the tour with 15 friends and we have the best time!! Highly recommend

    We spent 3 weeks in Medellin and this tour was my favorite thing we did. Diego picked us up and drove us to the neighborhood. On the way he started to share the history and trama that this comuna has been through. His attention to detail about the graffiti, the people that live there and their stories as well as the artists is profound. He knows EVERYONE as you walk around and you can tell he loves the connections that he has with them. You should not miss this part of Medellin, it is a neighborhood that his literally risen from the ashes and is now vibrant and full of life and hope. And the infrastructure is incredible, outdoor escalators! And also the PABLO tour with Diego is a MUST. He is a master at storytelling, and has first hand knowledge about the events in Pablo's life.

    This is the one of the coolest and most surreal experiences in my life. Must must book through them. Especially if your Spanish is not that great. Diego made us feel comfortable, safe and got us everything we needed.

    I wasn't planning on ping this until a friend recommended this tour and specifically with Diego. Diego was punctual, informative, and respectful of the areas history and growth in recent years. I can't recommend him enough in doing these tours. We were a group of 15 and we all had an amazing day interacting with the dancers, rappers and artists!

    I don’t often do tours because I think they can be quite a gimmick. That was NOT my experience with SAT. Diego was punctual, professional, knowledgeable, safe, funny, kind, patient, etc., etc. His door-to-door service was well worth the price, and his passion for Medellin is evident. After I mentioned to Diego that I am an educator and history teacher, he customized details based on my interests. Diego himself has a powerful story, and he offers a unique perspective about Medellin and Colombian culture, in general. I highly recommend a day - or two - with Diego and SAT Tours!

    I never thought I’d have such an amazing experience in this place. Our local tour guide, who’s a former employee in the place where I work, took us to the place and explained in detail the whole history. Meanwhile there were some people taken to the same places, we were taken to some hidden paths, private pubs and art galleries and that was incredible. The passion he put into the story was what made this experience something unique.

    I loved this tour!!Comuna 13 was beautiful. Diego, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable of the history of the community. He greeted community members and children as we walked through and saw the beautiful art work. The tour felt so personal, and we even had a lunch at this home turned restaurant. The food was delicious, the drinks were just as good, and the experience was more than I could’ve asked for.
