5.00We had Gladys and Toto as our guides and they were fantastic. Warm, knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about their community. They gave us a real understanding of Commune 4 beyond the headlines, with authentic stories, local insight and a great sense of humour. The whole tour felt safe, personal and incredibly worthwhile.

5.00This was such a sobering tour, and you learn a reality that documentaries can’t fully show you. Both guide and community leader provided the perfect amount of insight and gave a great overview without spending too long on one thing. The end discussion where we understood the community leader, Gloria’s, story was truly emotional and it adds so much value to the work and community we got to see. It’s beautiful to see how both are respected within this community, and you ca trust you are with the perfect people for the experience.

Our guide, Toto, and our host, Gladys, are both residents of Comuna 4 and brought the neighborhood to life with thoughtful stories about its history, resilience and everyday culture. The tour never felt rushed; we had time to notice details, ask questions and connect with the surroundings. We especially valued the opportunity to interact with other area residents and the chance to support small local businesses along the way. The mix of street art, viewpoints and personal insight made it all both engaging and meaningful. We left with a deeper understanding of the community and a genuine appreciation for a part of the city many visitors overlook. Highly recommend this walking tour for a thoughtful, respectful introduction to this part of Medellín!!

5.00If I could give a 10 out of 5 I would, love love this tour. Learned so much, the history of the community, how people struggled and fought through life, how resilient they are. The transformation of the community is such a powerful story. One of the founding leaders of the community was with us, even though I don't understand what she said (she was speaking Spanish, the tour was in English though and the guide translated her speech to English) but I can totally feel the powerful energy from her. Our guide Toto was beyond excellent, very fun, knows the history well, explains everything clearly, I felt engaged every second through the tour. Highly recommend!

5.00Wooow! Probably my best Medellín experience and one of the best of my entire trip to Colombia. Toto is exciting and passionate. Interesting information and humor. A little theatrical side that immerses us even more in history. Oh, great. And of course Gladys, as touching as it is interesting. His presence obviously brings even more authenticity and emotion to an already very authentic visit. Upsetting but fascinating, like the history of the city and the country. I highly recommend the Comuna 4 in addition to the 13 that everyone does and which obviously lost its naturalness with overtourism. A thousand thanks Real City Tours ❤️

5.00You want to have been to the real colombia, the real medellin? The one with no tourist traps, the one with a lot of history far away from narcos netflix entertainment and hyped theories romanticising the once most danergous city? Get to know a place and its people that allows you to understand the struggels, the hope and the constant change. 10/10 recommand
