The cooking class was a fun & enjoyable way to learn about Costa Rican food culture and history ending with an amazing meal. My guide Gregory also went out of his way to give local recommendations for things to do and see while staying in Quepos - highly recommend!

Wow, how fun is it to learn about a different cultures food, it always speaks to who they are what is important and where they come from. You get to participate quite a lot in the preparation and best of all you get to eat what you have made and they give you a copy of the recipes you have made so you can try it at home.

This was such an awesome experience! Juan was an excellent guide and host to our group. So thoughtful, explained everything that we asked and he was very knowledgeable. Clara is an excellent cook. Friendly and helped us make our meal so delicious! We even made an authentic Coasta Rican dessert. We wanted to bring her home with us! Would definitely recommend the cooking class.

Juan walked us through the botanical garden and shared info on various plants. Even picked ingredients for our meal preparation. We were active participants with the meal prep. Recipes for everything we prepared were available. Loved Juan knowledge and humor! Was a great experience and fun day!
