You will taste a thousand of ingredients wisely mixed together so as to never create monotony and you will discover new flavors through rich dishes with a scent of sea, almond, ricotta or even oil, earth, life, of something good.
Discover Sicily in its unique flavors, from Pachino cherry tomatoes to the pistachio of Bronte, a town located at the base of Etna volcano. I will delight you with the taste of aubergines while you prepare a plate of pasta “alla norma”, and discover the flavors of our sea through fresh fish from the local market, and flavored with spices such as capers from the Aeolian Islands and olives born from the fertile volcanic land.

Meet up with the Chef Mimmo Siciliano in the historical center of Taormina and visit the local market. Taste various fresh vegetable products, cheese sold by local sellers. Choose the dishes you would like to cook with the Chef, based on the fresh and seasonal ingredients you will find at the market. Transfer to the Restaurant "Ahoy Bistrò Siciliano" in Giardini Naxos (included in the price), 15 minutes from the market, facing the sea and the Bay of Naxos and Taormina. Start your experience with a wine tasting with focaccia, cold cuts, and local Sicilian cheese. After wearing the apron, you will prepare 3 traditional Sicilian dishes: an appetizer, a fish dish and six different types of fresh pasta homemade by you. And then you will sit at the table to enjoy a real typical Sicilian lunch, a few meters from the beach and the sea, with a final tasting of small traditional Sicilian Cannoli accompanied by a glass of Limoncello. At the end of the experience, customers will be taken back to the meeting point.

We learned great tips on local cuisine and how to cook it ourselves. Chef Mimmo’s mama was fantastic! She taught us how to make multiple types of pasta by hand. It would’ve been great to get the recipes for the dishes we made.

This was an amazing experience from start to finish for the 5 couples we were with. The little stop in the market was informative of the different types of vegetables that would be used in prepping the meals we made. And then the cooking class was out of this world. Chef Mimmo and the staff (many were family) were great! He did a fantastic job of explaining what we were going to be doing and made it so much fun! The hands on experience was fabulous. Oh, and I can’t explain how good the food was! Best meal so far in Italy. Don’t miss out on this experience. Bravo Chef Mimmo!

We had the most wonderful time at our cookery class with Chef Mimmo in Sicily! His passion for food and infectious energy made the entire experience unforgettable. The dishes we prepared were absolutely sensational - genuinely the best pasta I’ve ever had! Chef Mimmo and his team (Shoutout to you too Mama!) were patient, thoughtful, and full of humour, creating an atmosphere that was as fun as it was educational. I’d wholeheartedly recommend this class to anyone visiting Sicily - it’s an experience not to be missed!
