A three hour walking tour in the city center.
I am native Danish and have lived 25 years in Copenhagen.
We will see the medieval city, Rosenborg, Amalienborg, Christiansborg and Nyhavn (pretty canal).
Copenhagen is more than the capital of cosy hygge, it's also a vibrant city of trade and innovation with lots of space for work/life balance, soft urban design and a welfare state that aids every dane from cradle to grave.
Follow in the footsteps of Hans Christian Andersen, whose dream nearly failed before it started, and find out if his own life really was a fairy tale and see where he lived.
I've been a tour guide for ten years working for tourism companies. Now I also work independently.

What To Expect
Nyhavn
This beautiful canal was once the home to sailors and shippers and a autor called Hans Christian Andersen. Now it's popular with tourists and weekenders.
The home to King Frederik and Queen Mary and the centerpiece of the beautiful monumental axis between Opera and Marble Church. We will make a short stop without going in.

5.00Peter was a great tour guide! He not only showed us the must see Copenhagen spots, but also shared a great deal of history and commentary. He was quite funny and was a pleasure to be with. When it’s just two of you and a guide, a cool tour guide is a must!

5.00We had a fantastic tour with Peter, where we not only saw the main sights, but also more “hidden” places that we would never have visited without him. He responded to our wishes and interests (ballet, ATM) and even made the tour longer than announced. He also taught us the Danish way of life and some history in an entertaining way. There were also two small surprises. Peter's German can be understood well and we think the price is fair. In summary: A clear recommendation!

5.00Peter was a realy good gulde - we saw things that we could not have seen or found without the tour (e.g. the mairman) and wouldn't know the story behind (my children (7,10,14) would not listen to me if I would read for them the story out of a guide book). Peter also involved the children and he was able to answer all our questions. He also introduced us to the Danish way of life. And he tried to find out our interests and he gave us tips for the remaining days in Copenhagen. Feedback of our children even some days later (although the tour was 3 hours long!): great tour - they were still talking about the tour days later. A tour with Peter is a good chance to learn something about Copenhagen by a real danish guy (note: We had our tour in German (Peters German is quite good), but Peter also offered English).
