  I truly enjoyed every moment of it. The photoshoot went by so fast! It was extremely fun. Mune, Ann and Chi-chang took really good care of me every step of the way. It was easy to communicate in English. They gave me plenty of great pieces of advice (hairstyle, accessories, poses…). It was my first time doing cosplay on a professional level and it didn’t disappoint! It felt like being in a sci-fi movie. We did not get bothered during the photoshoot, it was not too crowded even for a Saturday. I even got pictures and videos on the day of but I am really looking forward to the finished results. All the needed information was clear and easy to find (meet-up spot, website, prices…). I recommend this experience for anyone curious about cosplay.

  It was the first time I tried a cosplay experience and it was amazing! Mune and Ann were very friendly and caring for me all along. I had no specific character in mind so I was happy to see that it was only original characters, I was able to choose the one that suited me best! The makeup was incredible and I was able to have as many photos as I wish, and walking in the streets of Akihabara in cosplay was a very special experience! I highly recommend this activity if you are around there!

  Mune and his crew at Cosplay 9 were an absolute joy to work with. From the moment he met us to the end of the night when he personally walked us to the metro station, everyone made us feel welcome and special. I booked this experience as a way for my son to experience Tokyo beyond the usual tourist-y things. He can be a bit shy, but the team (from costumes to hair/makeup and photographer) went out of their way to help draw him out of his shell - asking him about his favorite anime series and video games, and tailoring our experience accordingly. The costumes were amazing, we felt and looked cool (even drawing attention from total strangers during the photo shoot) and the pictures turned out even better than I hoped.   The best cosplay experience and one of our favourite memories of our time in Japan. We chose to give our two daughters who are huge Anime and Cosplay fans this experience on our recent trip to Japan. Wow, we were blown away. Mune and his team transformed our daughters and they looked amazing. The team were kind, professional and engaging. They went above and beyond to give my girls the best experience. Having a professional photographer was truly the highlight as now we have those memories and we will use these photos to update our family photos and forever have a memory on our wall of the best family holiday! Thank you to Mune and the team at Cosplay 9 - you made this an experience to remember and your attitude and professionalism made the whole process so much fun and so easy - THANK YOU.   Cosplay photoshoots in Japan are a growing professional art form. The intricacies of the costume design, to very specific attention to detail that goes into the whole makeup process, are just as exhilirating and profound as the photoshoot itself! Thank you @cosplay9_cyberpunktokyo, for making this experience possible! It was, indeed, an amazing journey!… just, wow!!!❤️‍🔥 From my son Drake: This the best Cyberpunk Tokyo Cosplay experience ever! I have made good friends in Mune, An, and Chi-chang, and Mizuki, and have cosplayed my favorite characters 2 years in a row! They took care of me well and I loved walking with them and having photoshoots in the different locations in Akihabara! With all that said, I love Cyberpunk Tokyo cosplay group!   Cosplay9 in Akihabara delivered a next-level, cyberpunk-inspired adventure that felt straight out of an anime epic. For our teen and tween—both young performers in acting, dance, and modeling - it was more than just dress-up; it was a full-blown cultural immersion into Tokyo’s vibrant cosplay scene. The Cosplay9 team treated them like stars from the moment we walked in. Over four incredible hours, they crafted a bespoke experience with flawless hair, makeup, costumes, props, and photography. Every detail was tailored with care, and the staff made sure the kids felt completely safe, seen, and celebrated. From the glowing arcades to the backstreets pulsing with neon, we shot across four iconic Akihabara locations —each frame looking like a scene from Blade Runner or a high-end anime film.   I had such an awesome time! The staff are super friendly and speak really good English. They made me feel like a real life anime character! The makeup artist made me look so pretty and I got to pick out my own customized cosplay. The props were super neat and taking pictures in Japan’s city scape was surreal. I you’re going to Tokyo anytime soon I highly recommend it! 😁

  

  

• My First Cosplay at Cyberpunk Tokyo - A Unforgettable Experience

  I had a incredible time at Cyperpunk Tokyo (Cosplay9) -- my very first cosplay experience. It was a blast! From the moment I arrived I was treated like a true character. There was a wide selection of futuristic, cute, and cool outfits inspired by their original characters. The professional makeup artist did an amazing job transforming me - creating a striking and convincing look that complimented the cosplay! I personally went for the cyberpunk look that would remind anime fans of Trigun - adding a purple and blue wing with bangs and a glowing red visor. Plus, there were lots of other accessories to choose from, like the glowing visor is multicolored, a cyberpunk mask, and colorful rims for the shoes, which can make the outfits even more eye-catching! I loved having so many options to pose and experiment with! The highlight was the nighttime tour - walking through the illuminated city, finding cyber-inspired spots, and glowing in my visor made for some truly epic photos. We stopped at several places for pictures and I loved how they turned out! I've received tons of compliments from family and friends on how cool I looked! It was such a transformative experience that they couldn't believe it was really me. A special shout-out to the makeup artist, Ann, she's talented not just at creating beautiful looks but also wickedly scary/scared ones, like her cosplay of Dabi on Instagram (akada_an). She really knows her craft! Overall, everyone was friendly, accommodating and fun! More so considering that I booked this right after visiting the Owl Cafe, where they kindly arranged for Mune to meet me at. If you're into cosplay, anime/manga, or just want to feel like you've stepped into a cyberpunk universe, I highly recommend this place for a truly unique experience!
