The opportunity to witness agriculture in action is a rarity nowadays. To experience where our food is grown rather than to watch it arrive at supermarkets is the point of our farm tours. Our farmers are happy to work with you to design a farm tour that fits into your group’s focus.

We are happy to share our farm with you in a way that meets the interest of your group. Sample group tour focuses are below to give you an idea of what a farm experience can offer.

Local food production and distribution, with an emphasis on seasonality, what crops grow when, and how we distribute them.

Medicinal Plants; Explain the traditional medicine practices since prehistoric times. Plants synthesise hundreds of chemical compounds for functions including defence against insects, fungi, diseases, and herbivorous mammals.

Awesome experience Werner was amazing great time couldn’t ask for better guides. Directions were clear and we were supported the whole way would definitely recommend

The cooking class was amazing!! We had a wonderful tour of the farm (which has everything you could imagine and more) and then made a very delicious Costa Rican meal. Manuel was an awesome host and even taught us salsa dancing after dinner. Would 10/10 recommend doing this activity!! Definitely a highlight of my trip!

Kevin was a wonderful guide. His experience and guidance was amazing for my family and I that were beginners. This time is one we will never forget! So much fun. The entire tour, the meal and the farm tour were just so great. You will not regret!
