We enjoyed the Cotopaxi tour with EcoSport. Joel was a fun and enthusiastic guide! He gave us lots of information about the national park and We expected a bit longer on the activities though - we were told the walk up to base camp would be an hour (it took us half an hour), and the bike ride would be 7km (it was 5.5km). Also the driver was quite rude and seemed to be in a rush - he was making lots of rude hand gestures to the slower cyclists then overook them despite us being told he would stay at the back in case anyone getting injured. Overall we enjoyed our day but it was a shame about the above things.

Oh, great. Joselo was a very nice guija! He said a lot about Cotopaxi. I lost my water bottle. Joselo asked right away and got it back. Thank you so much for that!

It was a great experience, they picked us up on time. Allowed the group spend plenty of time at the stops without unnecessary lingering. The guides were great, Joel was funny and experienced.

It is a truly unique experience. Our guide Victor was incredibly close, willing to help in any situation, he knows very well the region, the risks and how to act in each situation, a great professional. It is certainly a demanding climb if you are not used to the height. Equally recommended if you want to live a unique experience.

We visited Cotopaxi as a family and had an incredible experience. The tour started at Plaza Foch at 7:10 AM, and we arrived at the breakfast stop around 8:45 AM. For just $5, breakfast included rice, chicken, soup, salad, and dessert so no need to worry if you didn’t get a chance to eat beforehand. Victor and Anthony were fantastic guides, knowledgeable, engaging, and full of insights about the history, landscape, and each step of the tour. Our driver, Ricardo, was also wonderful: very safe, attentive, and even helped my little one make it all the way up to the base. Be prepared for rapidly changing weather. It can start warm and sunny, then suddenly shift to strong winds, rain, or even snow. Bring proper hiking gear and layered clothing (wool, Gore-Tex, beanie, gloves, and good hiking shoes are highly recommended). We chose the more challenging steeper route (not the zigzag path), and everyone managed to reach the base within an hour. After the hike, we biked down to the lake, where we spotted horses and birds along the way. We returned to Plaza Foch around 5:15 PM. Overall, it was a wholesome, memorable experience, highly recommended.
