Experience the best of the northern Cotswolds with a fun, friendly local guide in a small group of up to 16 people. We'll explore picture-postcard Cotswold towns and villages including Chipping Campden, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bibury and Bourton-on-the-Water. There's also the stunning Dover's Hill viewpoint, scenic back roads, and our "secret" off-the-beaten-track village, which many customers agree is a highlight of the tour!
Tours depart from Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon, or from Moreton-in-Marsh in the Cotswolds, so make an ideal day trip for visitors staying in these towns. It's also very easy to take a day trip by train from London Paddington, Oxford or Worcester (to Moreton-in-Marsh), or from Birmingham (to Stratford-upon-Avon).
If you're travelling from London or Oxford, we think it's best to take the train to the Cotswolds and meet a tour here - you'll skip all the traffic, take a charming, scenic train ride, and get to spend even longer in the beautiful Cotswolds!

I loved the tour! The guide was kind, well-informed, and organized, and kept our small band moving along to see a broad range of amazing sites without feeling rushed. Martin gave great advice and ideas as he drove the coach and once we got to a location, and we could explore to take photos or stop in shops as we wanted. I loved it. Especially as a solo woman traveler, it was great to be with a group to see this beautiful part of the countryside. I could choose to do what I wanted, or choose to join a few of the others at one of the stops (most were very friendly). The day went by at a nice pace, with a good amount of time at each stop. Martin did end up adjusting the tour slightly based on our pace as the day went on, swapping out one farther afield village for one that was closer (he didn't want anyone to miss their train home). I wouldn't have noticed unless he'd said something. The tour cost was more than reasonable for the fun (and comfortable... yay air conditioning!) and extensive tour of some gorgeous Cotswolds villages. I picked up some nice gifts to take home, some fun memories, and whole lot of photos. Next time I'm in the area, I plan to take one or more of their other available tours!

Visiting England from the USA, I took the Cotswolds in a Day tour in November 2025. This was a terrific way to see the Cotswolds which I have seen on British TV and always wanted to experience. It would be impossible to rent a car and see all the places we visited in a day (let alone trying to drive country roads on the other side). Our guide, Steve, was from the area and exceedingly knowledgeable of the area, and provided much background information on everything we saw. He even knew what back roads to take to avoid road works to keep us on schedule. We were treated to a rainbow in Bibury – Steve said he didn’t arrange it but have my doubts :-) Memorable day!

A great sampling of The Cotswolds! Wendy was very informative and gave good tips of what to see in each village. She made the most of a rainy morning and cloudy afternoon. A great time and will return again in early summer someday!

Excellent tour, interesting route. Visit several villages with a well-distributed time. The guide gave several informations about the area and was friendly and accommodating. I don't have the impression that we ran like in some laps; nice pace although we saw several places of beauty. Also the minibus was comfortable. Recommend without hesitation!

We had a wonderful time on the Cotswolds in a Day tour. We took the tour in late November and our guide flexed the itinerary a bit based on maximizing the time outside with when the rain was supposed to clear. Martin made the entire day fly by, and the tour stops were fantastic. They will be adding a tour that leaves from Oxford in 2026, but it was not terribly inconvenient to get to Moreton-on-Marsh via train from Oxford, and the pickup point is just in the parking lot of the station.

This tour was amazing! Our tour guide Elaine was so incredibly warm, welcoming, funny, and helpful. She was extremely knowledgeable, and I learned so much while having fun! The tour allowed just the right amount of time in each location, and had the perfect balance between personal exploring time and group learning/travel. This will be a travel highlight remembered for years to come. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the Cotswolds with an expert - and I hope they get Elaine as a tour guide!

Excellent tour! We met the tour at Moreton-in-Marsh, and made our way about the Cotswolds. The tour guide was informative and amusing. The tour started with a stop in a sheep meadow, which afforded an amazing view of the surrounding landscape, and which also serves as the scene of the annual games. The tour stops included Chipping Campden, Snowshill, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bibury, and Bourton-on-the-Water. There was ample time to see the sights in each.
