Experience the best of the northern Cotswolds with a fun, friendly local guide in a small group of up to 16 people. We'll explore picture-postcard Cotswold towns and villages including Chipping Campden, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bibury and Bourton-on-the-Water. There's also the stunning Dover's Hill viewpoint, scenic back roads, and our "secret" off-the-beaten-track village, which many customers agree is a highlight of the tour!
Tours depart from Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon, or from Moreton-in-Marsh in the Cotswolds, so make an ideal day trip for visitors staying in these towns. It's also very easy to take a day trip by train from London Paddington, Oxford or Worcester (to Moreton-in-Marsh), or from Birmingham (to Stratford-upon-Avon).
If you're travelling from London or Oxford, we think it's best to take the train to the Cotswolds and meet a tour here - you'll skip all the traffic, take a charming, scenic train ride, and get to spend even longer in the beautiful Cotswolds!

Enjoyable, comfortable tour, got to see the sights and hear about the history and architecture from a knowledgeable and friendly guide. Very nice not to have to worry about parking or navigating - there were road closures when we visited, would have been really confusing if we were navigating on our own,

Martin is delightful and was what our family unanimously liked most about the day. He has lots of engaging stories and truly connects with his customers. The day is a relaxing chance to see some quaint towns and take in the beauty of the world around you. We would do this again in a heartbeat!

The tour was fast paced and visited several charming villages in one day. Yet sometimes it seemed like overwhelming chaos with too many tourists bumping into each other. I would recommend the tour but be prepared for crowds.

My wife and I took the Cotswold tour via mini bus. Plusses included our guide, Steve, who was very friendly, energetic and knowledgeable about the area; the bus had comfortable seats and we were picked up at the Moreton-in-Marsh train station in good time. We were also dropped off at the end of the tour in good time at the station. Negatives were a warmer temperature in the minibus despite asking for a cooler setting (after turning the A/C temperature warmer for a passenger in the morning, it was not ever very comfortable again) and too brief stays in some of the stops especially the one designated for lunch (Stow in the Wold). One hour to walk to a restaurant and eat lunch and get back to the bus is not sufficient for a meal. We believe that the tour would be immeasurably improved by having fewer stops and longer stays allowing more browsing. Another issue was understandable as most of the stops were overrun with tourists. We would have been happier with a tour that did not emphasize the places that have become tourist traps. It was really a shame because despite Steve’s efforts, it was difficult to navigate and enjoy the choked streets and footpaths of these charming villages.
