After breakfast we depart the hotel for a full-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, the “city of glory.” We visit Durbar (Palace) Square, the epicenter of religious and cultural life, an area filled with old temples and historical significance with old glorious Newari architecture. Some of the sights include Taleju Temple, and Kumari Ghar; home to the Living Goddess. Afterwards we visit Swoyambhunath Stupa, said to be one of the oldest Buddhist stupas in the world, which is majestically set high on a hill overlooking Kathmandu Valley. We proceed towards Pashupatinath Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This massive temple complex sits alongside the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Only Hindus are allowed to enter the courtyard of the temple, whereas tourists can see the temple from the eastern side of the Bagmati River. Later we visit Boudhanath, a Buddhist Stupa said to be one of the largest in the world.

Kathmandu Durbar Square
After breakfast, we commence our visits to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites beginning within the Kathmandu District. These sites include Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath, and Bauddhanath. Kathmandu Durbar Square showcases Nepalese art and architecture at its best. The architecture is typical of the Malla dynasty who ruled over Nepal from the 12th to 18th centuries.
The Swayambhunath Temple has a compelling mix of both Hindu and Buddhist shrines and stupas, which popularly known amongst foreigners as the Monkey Temple owing to the large monkey population residing in the area.

Padam is a great guide! I enjoyed going hiking with him and he gave me lots of information about Nepal, history, customs, etc. and he kept me safe from monkeys and falling down slippery steps. I felt very comfortable with him. We got soaked in the rain and finished up the hike with a hot meal of Mo Mo. Thanks for the great guide service!

The Kathmandu tour was awesome. We visited Durbar square, Buddha Natha Temple. The places are wonderful. One day is not enough for Kathmandu, at least 4 days to visit all the places then with plenty of time. The guided tour was detailed and informative. It was really hassles free in everywhere we went. Mr. Sujan was very helpful and humble and also have to mention Mr. Lama the tour guide who was wonderful. My family loved it a lot. I would definitely visit Nepal again and I would use their tour packages. I would also recommend others too.

I had the opportunity of visiting Kathmandu with Alpine Club of Himalaya and it is an experience I will not forget. I was visiting with colleagues as a precursor for future group trips. Our time was a quick 3 days in Kathmandu which is just a taster that will have you wanting to return. The owner, Sujan, and his partners are excellent. Early for every pickup they arranged, including out 5 am Everest Flight pickup. They were all great to be around and very knowledgeable. Especially our guide, Dhyansh ( not sure of spelling). He was knowledgeable of everything we had questions about plus soo much more. He has a love and passion for his country that comes across in the way he presents tours and it makes you want to explore even more of the beautiful country he call home. If only we had the time. I look forward to returning and exploring several other regions they shared information on.

My mum and I truly enjoyed our 7 days trip at Kathmandu-Chitwan-Pokhara trip. Our tour guide and driver worked well together. Mr Deepak was experienced and make sure we used time wisely. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Mr Deepak our guide went to the famous place to get me some local dish, so I could taste the genuine product. It was so good! Sujan, the CEO, each had a part in making sure the trip was successful. Thanks to Sujan and the team for a great experience! Will definitely recommend!

Kathmandu Chitwan Pokhara Namaskar 🙏🏼 I joined a group tour from Malaysia 🇲🇾. We were there during Mahashivarathri celebration in Feb 2023. Visited Budhanilkantha, Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath Stupa aka "Monkey Temple" , Chitwan National Park, Manakamana temple and sightseeing Durbar Square, Pokhara nightlife dining out, shopping, Phewa lake and in the centre of the lake there was a beautiful Virahi temple which you need to get the boat rides, Sarangkot sunrise and view of Fish Tail and Anapurna 1,2,3,4 mountain peaks. I got a few pieces of beautifully weaved Yak wool shawls and bedspread. Also collected lots of colourful crystal malas (chains). Specials thanks to Mr. Sujan the agency owner in Nepal for arranging the tour on ground in Nepal. Deepak our tour leader guide who was very knowledgeable about the history of Nepal and very informative of current issues, he is a kind hearted and calm person who made sure all of us were safe and well taken care. Pemba our tour guide who assisted and guided us safely too, the bus driver who drove cautiously on the winding roads and some roads which were under construction and not forgetting all the hotel staffs who made our stay pleasant. A special cake was organised by Mr. Sujan and Mr Katherasan (owner of travel agency from Malaysia) for me on our departure day as it was my birthday. It was definitely a memorable moment celebrating my half century with new found friends in Nepal 🇳🇵… the Thakalli food and Nepalese people, their culture and The Himalayan mountain ranges are mesmerising as well as captivating the heart which will behold the souls in us … will definitely return very soon 🙏🏼
