At Ramen Cooking Tokyo, we offer an immersive cooking class that goes beyond cooking—emphasizing genuine cultural exchange. Our English-friendly Japanese hosts warmly welcome guests into an intimate, small-group setting where lasting connections form.

During our relaxed 2.5–3 hour experience, you'll learn to create two iconic Japanese dishes: authentic ramen and your choice of handmade sushi or delicious gyoza. Enjoy unlimited sake pairings carefully curated to complement each dish, along with insightful explanations of their cultural significance.

Families traveling with children are warmly welcomed—kids even receive traditional Japanese "dagashi" snacks as delightful souvenirs. Our classes are especially popular for special occasions like birthdays, honeymoons, or graduations, ensuring every event is memorable.

Welcome to our cooking class. Our theme, "Beyond Cooking, Feel the Connection," invites you to not just learn recipes but to experience authentic cultural exchange. At Ramen Cooking Tokyo, you'll be warmly greeted by our English-friendly Japanese hosts in a cozy, small-group setting. Over the course of our relaxed 3-hour class, you'll learn to create delicious ramen and sushi (or optional gyoza) from scratch. As you cook, you'll hear engaging stories about Japanese culinary traditions, enhancing your appreciation of the dishes you're preparing. To ensure you can recreate these dishes at home, you'll also receive a detailed recipe as a gift. Perfect for families, couples, and friends, our class is suitable for all ages and skill levels. We took a sushi and ramen making class while visiting Japan, and it was such a special experience. The small group size made it feel personal and relaxed. Umi, Komi, and Alissa were amazing—kind, knowledgeable, and so much fun to learn from. We were especially grateful that Umi took the time to share recommendations on where my son, who is in culinary school, could purchase high-quality Japanese knives. That personal touch meant a lot to us. The included Japanese beer and sake were a wonderful bonus, and the facilities were new, spotless, and very well run. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

Amazing cooking class! Very friendly, incredible food, very good English and a lot of fun! Umi and Namiko were incredible caring and supportive hosts. The ramen and sushi were so tasty, and the instructions very very easy to follow.

Amazing amazing experience! My best friend and I had a lovely time, class is a great mix of learning about what youre making and having a great time cooking. Our teachers were incredibly kind, amazing to chat with, and created a very memorable experience. In a great location, amazing intimate class environment! Definitely recommend booking here over some similar classes in the area.

This was such a great experience to make your own sushi and ramen. Our hosts were amazing, providing their expertise. Hosts were so attentive and graciously nice, they made the experience well worth it. Tomokos class is a great place to experience authentic Japanese food.

Tomoko and the rest of her team were such great hosts and teachers! Finally learned how to make some sushi nigiri + ramen. I came with friends, but definitely a great experience to come with significant others + family.
