It was one of my father and I's favorite memories in Australia. We had one day in Tasmania on our trek around Australia, and Sue made it the most memorable. She picked us up early when our ship got in, took us on a run to Maccas, and then when I told her that my major involves animal conservation, she suggested we go to Devils at Cradle as well as Cradle Mountain. That was the best suggestion ever! I got to see hands on conservation work with Tasmanian Devils, and although Cradle Mountain wasn't showing its peaks, we had a great time walking around the park. Once we were done with our trek, we went to lunch and Sue bought both my father and I a drink because we had never tried it before. She truly made the experience feel like a family trip. We stopped at the Murals on our way back to Devonport and saw so much more than we expected. I would recommend this trip with Sue to anyone looking to travel to Cradle Mountain, or on any other trips she guides. She made the experience one of the most memorable in our travels and was flexible in creating an experience that we would enjoy.

Had a wonderful day with Mr Smoothie Smith, my name for our tour leader. He was informative and interesting even though it rained almost the whole tour and we didn't get many photos. The memories we keep from that day will always be good!

We were on a small, old mini-bus and were unlucky to have four seats in the very back. The seats were horrible. Howard did say we could switch around but we declined because we knew no one would want to sit there. The drive was long, but Howard had some interesting information to share. The only problem was Howard kept forgetting to speak into the microphone so we couldn't hear most of what he was saying. The weather was lousy but we were lucky to see the entire cradle mountain. We also were lucky to see a wombat and a wallaby. So there were some pluses to the tour.
