  Me and my friends enjoyed a lovely tour on Cat Ba island, Lan Ha bay and Ha Long bay. On the first night guide Jack explained us about the island’s history and nature and about the Vietnam. Very interesting! On the second day we had a lovely trekking guide who comes from a fisherman family. He told us so much about the island and helped us hiking the hill in the most kind and helpful way. When we came back on the boat there was guide Hang who entertained us by doing magic trics and playing the flute. This cruise was a wonderful, adventurous and educating experience.

  We did the 3-days/2-nights boat tour with CatBa Ventures and were overall very happy with the experience. The itinerary was well designed, taking us to beautiful, less touristy places with stunning landscapes all around. It truly felt like an authentic and unique way to explore the region. However, the quality of the tour can vary depending on the guide you get. We had two different guides across the two nights, and the difference was noticeable. The first night was average. The second night, however, absolutely exceeded all expectations — thanks to our guide Hang. Hang was exceptional. From the very beginning, he made a warm and friendly impression. He was always smiling, relaxed, and incredibly attentive. He created a genuinely welcoming atmosphere and made everyone feel comfortable and cared for. On top of that, he went above and beyond what was included in the official program: he organized his own magic show in the evening, which was such a fun and unexpected highlight. Because of Hang, our overall experience went from “average” to a true 5 out of 5 stars. He is an outstanding guide, and we can’t recommend him highly enough. If you have the chance to do this tour, we sincerely hope you get Hang — he made our trip truly unforgettable. ———— Tip for Cat Ba Ventures Organisation: Do not seperate couples during the first lunch based on dietary preferences, guides should not make you feel like you are in school again Tip for travelers: It’s super clean and comfortable however not a luxury yacht but rather a small, authentic more adventurous trip - which we loved

  We were on the boat with Tony from 11.11 to 13.11. The organization from booking until we were on the ship was good. We got a great room and everything was clean. Tony took care of every wish immediately and answered questions. The tours with him were very informative and a lot of fun. We had a great time and say THANK YOU to the whole team.

  Had a great private 3-day boat tour in Halong Bay. Boat and crew were great. Food super delicious and plentiful.Our guide Viet spoke super English, was super friendly and has been able to introduce us a lot about the country and people, as well as the history and culture. So thanks to our great guide Viet and for the perfect oorganization by Cat Ba Ventures.

  This was the best experience of our lives! The private boat exceeded our expectations! Our tour guide Kong was so knowledgeable, funny and kind, he explained everything so well and shared a quieter side of vietnam with us. The activity locations were all away from the crowds and such breathtaking views! The food was so so incredible, we ate like kings and queens and then lounged around having beer in the sun. We even had hotpot cooked in front of us and taught to make spring rolls by one of the chefs Ti! All the crew were so kind and made us all smile. Getting to and from the boat we booked the private travel with the same company and it was seamless experience which made the trip even better.   We were absolutely thrilled with the trip and will not forget the experiences and impressions so soon :) Organizationally, everything went like clockwork and the supply was first cream. The hike is not for tender minds and you can still feel it in your legs 1-2 days later, but is worth every altitude meter. A huge thank you especially to the guides. "Tom Cruise" is simply the incarnation of good humor, Ninh fought with us bravely through the Vietnamese jungle and Jack gave us another great insight into the history and culture of the area. With all 3 the ice broke immediately and you had a super relaxed and personal approach. I've rarely seen anything like it. A thousand thanks for that, boys <3

  We had a great time with Huyen, the (former) fisherman was a great, cheerful and helpful guide. We booked the private tour (3D/2N) - it was awesome. The tours were great (kayaking, cycling and hiking). The food on board was great. Almost a little too much for the two of us. From consulting online to implementation everything worked out wonderfully. We were even able to take a shower in the associated hotel.   We booked the 3D/2N tour and loved it. Super nice guides (Ben and Hang, was changed on the second day), great route, plenty of time for swimming and kayaking or just relaxing on the deck. Everything was clean, the cabin large and the food very good. Our diet (plant-based) was very well received and there was a large and varied selection every day. That was really phenomenal. Since we were the only ones with another couple who had booked 3D/2N and the remaining participants 2D/1N, the group was changed on the second day, only the 4 of us stayed on the ship or were hiking on Cat Ba Island during the change (with another guide). A great change and great views of the island and bay. We were mostly the first in the bays and far away from any larger and/or party ships. Those who need a little more action than just staying on the ship are in the right place. We have hardly seen other ships that have made your guests bathe so much or sailed to bays. Drink prices (water is incl., also tea and coffee for breakfast) on the ship are very fair and comparable to the mainland. The crew super sweet. I highly recommend the tour with Cat Ba.

  Thank you very much Viet!! We have a wonderful time. Very personalised tour for us including kayaking, private beaches, Monkey Island, hiking, cycling, fishing, visiting a fishing village and fish farm; also swimming. We did the private tour, on Junk 6. There is a chef, a captain and a porter on board - all very friendly and attentive. The guide, Viet, stayed with us the whole time and was very knowledgeable and tailored each day around what we wanted to do. Would recommend!
