I booked this tour for my family, including two parents in their 80s, and mistakenly didn’t realize it was a walking tour (my fault). When I figured it out just before we started, Edison was incredibly patient over WhatsApp and quickly coordinated with our guide, Flavio. Flavio was fantastic—very knowledgeable about Cuenca and its history, engaging, and genuinely caring. He checked on my parents often, stopped to rest when needed, and never made us feel rushed or like a burden. Highly recommend this tour. They truly care. Edison even followed up after the tour, and Flavio shared photos he took, which was a really nice touch.

My tour guide, Diego, was excellent. He is extremely knowledgeable about Cuenca’s history, culture, geography, architecture, etc. His command of the English language was very good. He has a good vocabulary. He gave me some free time to explore but always kept an eye on me. I would highly recommend him.

Edison is an extremely knowledgeable guide. Any questions you have about the city, he knows the answers since he has lived in Cuenca his whole life. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour!

Trip advisor is one of my resources to capture a value for the money. Not only is the adventure worth the time and money, but you make a friend that is a local in the area. Our guide knew this area well, history of the city and was very accommodating for our needs. Eddie connected with us well. Very respectful and friendly. His knowledge is appreciated. I feel I know Cuenca and appreciate its people and history.

We had a great tour with Flávio! He was super knowledgable and felt like a friend showing us around his hometown. He also gave us some food recommendations and he was spot-on! Flávio was also very good at timing breaks and stops. We enjoyed the combination of the van visit to Turi and then walking around the city. Great activity to do when you first arrive in Cuenca as it helps with understanding the city layout and navigation.

The guide knew the city well. Could have done a little more by car. Got to see key interest points. Good value for the money.

My walking city tour of Cuenca with Flavio, and it was an outstanding experience. Not only did I get a great tour of the city, but I also got to practice my Spanish as Flavio (since I was the only person on the tour that day). He was patient with translations when needed and went above and beyond, answering my questions about things that weren’t even part of the tour. His knowledge and willingness to help were truly appreciated. He even helped me with a taxi driver when my Spanish failed me. I highly recommend this tour—it was informative and a lot of fun!

An awesome private tour with guide Edison. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We started our tour by the Tory neighborhood up the hills to get the most beautiful view of Cuenca. Then we went to the old train station and the Quinta de Bolivar house. Then we went to the colonial street of the “Herraderias” where we stopped to enjoy some typical regional tamales. The we walked around the river and we finished by the old historical town. It was a very complete and entertained tout. I enjoy it and recommend it.
