Culinary cruise with pierogi tasting on the Motława River - discover the flavors of Gdańsk from the deck of a traditional boat!

We invite you to a unique culinary cruise on the Motława River, which combines relaxation on the water with a real feast for the palate. We set off from an atmospheric place - the former grounds of the Gdańsk Shipyard, to sail towards the heart of the city. During the cruise, we serve one of the most popular dishes of Polish cuisine - pierogi!

On board a 12-person, open-deck boat, we prepare freshly cooked pierogi for participants, which are served with crispy fried onion and golden cracklings just before the tasting. This is not only a culinary attraction, but also a unique experience with a view of the historic quays of Gdańsk and its architecture.

Your unique culinary journey begins at Dokowa 1, Galar Gdanski Marina, where you'll board our traditional vessel. We will set sail towards the iconic Gdansk Shipyard, passing by the impressive pontoon bridge, offering a fascinating glimpse into the city's industrial heritage and a unique perspective from the water.

Following our exploration of the shipyard area, we will gracefully navigate the Motława River, cruising directly through the heart of Gdansk's charming Old Town. You'll have the opportunity to admire the picturesque waterfront, historic buildings, and vibrant atmosphere from a unique perspective. Throughout this part of your voyage, you'll be treated to a delightful culinary experience, including the preparation and tasting of traditional Polish pierogi, accompanied by a glass of exquisite wine.

Fun trip! Appreciated the translation and explanation of the sights. Pierogi and wine was nice :) Was grateful not to be on the more touristy pirate like ships and the price for this was extremely reasonable. Very nice captain and mate.

The cruise started right on time, and the setting on the water was beautiful and relaxing. Our host was well spoken, engaging, and clearly passionate about sharing the culinary culture of the region. The pierogis were absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and a great variety that gave a nice introduction to Polish cuisine. One small downside: only one small glass of wine was included. I would’ve happily paid extra for another glass, but unfortunately, I was told it wasn’t an option. That was a bit disappointing, especially since the wine paired nicely with the food. Overall, a great experience that I’d recommend—just wish they offered more flexibility with the wine!
