  The East Side ATV tour in Curaçao was such a fun experience! Our 9 a.m. tour included a mini hike with caves, a stop at the oceanfront windmill, a visit to the ostrich farm, and the aloe vera farm. I loved getting to drive across different terrain and even on regular roads. Our guides, Tyrone and Valencia, were great, friendly, and knowledgeable. It is dusty, so goggles and a bandana are an absolute must. We finished around 12:30 p.m., which left plenty of time to enjoy the rest of the day. If you’re thinking about it, just book it! It’s a great way to see more of Curaçao.

  We paid for 2 tickets and was “assigned” one vehicle. They did not tell us you needed to present a drivers license, I went back to my hotel to get mine and asked to drive. I was then given my own vehicle. We had a very nice but hot trip with Tyrone.

  Before I went on holiday I had already read about the ATV tour in a travel blog, and it immediately attracted my interest. I doubted if it was a good idea to book in advance as my holiday took place in the rainy season, and I didn't know if it would go ahead with bad weather. Once in Curaçao I had made a booking for 2 people on 2 quads. Very nice that this was still possible to book in the same week (maybe this is not possible in high season). It was my very first time on a quad bike, and therefore I had chosen the East Tour. I found it a bit exciting, but after a while on the quad you get a bit more used to driving. The people who had never done it before were allowed to drive in front. What a fun way to discover more of the island! You're going to places you hadn't seen before. Unfortunately we hadn't stopped at the aloe vera farm, although I think this was because a group didn't arrive in time and we had to leave later. It was also a pity, that at a certain stop, people were talking through the guide so she was less easily understood. In addition, the woman who was driving in front of me was busy on her phone making videos while driving, so you could not drive comfortably. Maybe they can make some smaller groups in the future to prevent something like this. As a tip I would like to give to Eric’s ATV to better prepare people for how best to dress (given that you can get quite dirty from the dust), and that they should bring a dust mask / bandana, instead of having to buy it on the spot. All in all it was a super nice experience! If I ever came back, I might do the west tour again (but as a passenger princess:) )

  Very fun tour to go on, the ride was nice, the tour guides was great. You get to see different animals at the break spot and you get to do a little bit of hiking which was great.

  Our tour guide was Tyrone. He explained with simple, but safe directions on the rules of driving the ATV. He was constantly monitoring all of the drivers and made sure we were together at all times. Tyrone educated us about the island and history of Curacoa. We learned a lot and also took in the beauty of the island and water that surrounds it. This was our first time engaging in this type of adventure and would recommend it for anyone interested or that is skeptical to make it one of their choices of an excursion. We had a great time and we're able to even see areas where many of the local stay and the beautiful homes they live in. I would recommend this excursion as a must do!
