This day tour is flexible and arranged entirely based on your own choice. In the morning, you will visit an UNESCO World Heritage Site - Terracotta Army and Horses Museum. You will have a chance to take a close look at the life-sized terracotta soldiers and appreciate the intelligence of ancient people. In the afternoon, you can choose one big sites or two small sites from the following places；Banpo Neolithic Village, Xian Ancient City Wall, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Huaqing Hot Spring, Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Small Wild Goose Pagoda, Muslim Quarter, Great Mosque, Steles Forest, etc.. Please let us know beforehand which sites you like to see in the afternoon, some sites may not fit in.

What To Expect
The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses
To beat the crowds, at 7:30 a.m, your tour representative and personal driver will hold a welcome sign and wait for you at your hotel lobby. After warm greetings, you will set out to the famous Terracotta Army and Horses Museum. At 8:50-9:00 a.m, you will arrive at the museum and start your wondrous adventure to the discovery of Qin Dynasty. From 9:00 a.m - 12:00p.m, your private tour guide will escort you to each pit of the museum and introduce to all the stories and legends of the First Emperor in Chinese history. You will see the formation of his marvelous mausoleum and be amazed by the ancients’ intelligence.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta)
From here, you are free to choose whatever you want to see. You may learn Chinese calligraphy and featured culture in Small Wild Goose Pagoda, or know about Tang Dynasty Buddhism in Big Wild Goose Pagoda, or have an experience as a primitive in Banpo Neolithic Village, or ride a bicycle on the ancient city wall and imagine yourself as a soldier riding a horse, or see the palace of Lady Yang in Huaqing Hot Spring, or climb on the Bell or Drum Tower and have a glimpse of city center, or learn Muslim culture in Muslim Quarter and Great Mosque, or you may enjoy the old steles and appreciate the beauty of calligraphy. Either way, afternoon tour is totally in your own hands. Just advise in advance! After the day tour, your tour guide and driver will accompany you back to hotel.

5.00We booked a day trip with Stefanie to see the Terracotta Warriors and 2 additional sites of our choice (Muslim Quarter and Great Mosque), and I am so glad we went with a guide. Stefanie and her driver picked us up at our hotel and got us to the Terracotta site when it opened. The site was much more confusing than I expected, and she hustled us to the entrance and prime viewing spots throughout the tour. There are SO many people at this site and any English signs are few and hard to see between the crowds, so we were so glad we had a live guide to walk us through, park us at different viewing spots, and point out different highlights as we went along. It was efficient, educational, and nice not to be struggling through the crowds alone, trying to figure out what to see next and what the significance of each of the tombs or sculptures was. Then afterwards, she spontaneously asked if we wanted to book tickets to a Silk Road themed song/music/costume show, and we were so glad we added that to our tour. It was awesome, technologically modern, fun, and very Chinese all at once. There are some jaw dropping theatrical effects during the Silk Road show, so I recommend not really reading about what you'll see in advance so there are no spoilers and you get the full amazement too, haha. Stefanie was also flexible about eating and breaks. We got milk teas when we needed a sit down, and she took us to an excellent local restaurant that wasn't touristy at all. I feel like we enjoyed real Xi'an food in a real Chinese restaurant. The Great Mosque and Muslim Quarter were also a great choise, as the mosque had elements that we wouldn't have identified on our own, and she helped explain the significance of the site. She even patiently waited while I did a little shopping in the Muslim Quarter (shops that I wandered into on my own. This wasn't a tour with planned shopping stops). Throughout the tour Stefanie gave us her full attention and was always energized and happy to answer our questions. It was so nice to have such a cheerful, enthusiastic guide with us throughout the day!

5.00Stefanie was a wonderful guide for the terracotta warriors and museum, and we even had the chance to meet one of the farmers who discovered the terracotta warriors when they were digging a new well. I had my book signed by the one who was there on the day, although I'm sorry to say I can't recall his name. Stefanie maintains a good, reasobable pace, and we managed to see a great deal here, and also of Xi'an during our three and hald day stay there. She and her driver, Mr Wang, picked us up from the train station, were always on time for our morning hotel pick-ups, and finally saw us off at the airport from where we departed to Shanghai. She even gave us an excellent recommendation for a guide in Shanghai. Stefanie is very informative, enthusiastic and very well organised. Please do consider booking her as your tour guide. Thank you again, Stefanie, from me and my cousins.

5.00Stefani is the best! We stayed in Xi'an for 3 days and the program she proposed was incredible: mausoleums, walls, palaces, theaters, lantern festival... and a lot of history throughout the visits. She was always friendly and showed us Chinese culture, cuisine and history.

5.00Highly recommended private tour and Stephanie is awesome. She is local to Xi’an and has so much knowledge about the area and about the history. Stephanie was able to get us front row access to see the terracotta warriors. She customized our tour to what we wanted. She even took photos for us and provided us with plenty of water and fruit. The camel show is also recommended for an additional 300¥ per person but it is well worth it. The communication was outstanding from the beginning., and the driver was very safe. The vehicle was clean and very comfortable. He kept the air conditioner cold in the vehicle for us in 39C and humid weather. You will not be disappointed with this tour! Support this woman owned small business.

We enjoyed ourselves and all went according to plan from the moment she and the driver picked us up till we return to the hotel.

5.00Booked a tour with Stefanie to see the Terracotta Army and Horses Museum and customised an itinerary with her for an outing that included lunch and a visit to the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda. Stefanie was very helpful, arranging to book our tickets in advance and helping to order lunch at a restaurant in the Lintong area. She arrived punctually on the day of the tour with the driver, and the vehicle comfortably accommodated our group of five. Would definitely recommend her services, as getting to and navigating the museum on our own as non-Mandarin speakers would have been quite challenging.

5.00we spent wonderful days with Stefanie in XiAn. She speaks very good English, is always polite and knows everything about history, geography and locations in XiAn. Her lectures are never boring and she gives good tips on where to eat, shop or see something special. She always responded to our requests and has many contacts. For example, she spontaneously organized a tour of a historic farm and tickets for a show for us. Her driver was remarkable. We have never experienced a better one in any Chinese city.
