• Amazing cycling & safari trip from Kilimanjaro to Ngorongoro Crater

  This was an incredible, one-week cycling and safari trip for four friends with our One Bike Tanzania guides, Hilary, Goodluck and Joseph. All aspects of the trip were perfect. The One Bike team did a brilliant job and I would highly recommend using this company. We cycled through such a variety in landscapes and the Tanzanian people are amazing and friendly. One Bike will individually tailor your trip to suit all abilities in your group and to ensure that you get the experience you are after. We had a mix of cycling with two non-consecutive days on safari to break up the cycling days. A support vehicle is with you at all times carrying your luggage, food and drinks etc. The accommodation and food was excellent. • Adventure without the danger

  There were four of us on this tour and we are all reasonably fit but over 55 . The one bike team were fantastic and tailored each day according to our abilities and requests . The boys were very knowledgable about local culture and wildlife . This felt like and adventure but at no time did we feel uneasy. This particular trip was very well curated with very varied landscape and equally varied cycling terrain and the One Bike back up team were incredibly attentive , providing excellent lunches and fluid supplies. If you are thinking about this type of trip these guys will look after you .

• Mountain bike tour northwest Kilimanjaro plus Arusha National Park

  6 intensive days from Arusha and the National Park to Lake Manyara, there along the shore and on to Ngorongoro Crater and National Park, Kilimanjaro / Londorosi Gate: In the great outdoors, among the wildlife and also very much in really secluded corners. A youth dream came true, wonderful experiences and impressions collected. Everything was perfectly organised, changes were agreed on site and picked up accordingly, the accommodations were as different as they were authentic. A great combination, very balanced. The people are whether that was their own guide, the driver or the staff in the lodges just like the people in the solitude or on the street, just friendly, always devoted and the Service always very "committed". The insights into the culture of the Maasai, the wildlife - for this quite short time were unforgettable. I will certainly be back shortly, this again with OBTZ - One BikeTanzania!

  My wife and I just completed a 10 day cycling tour with One Bike Tanzania (OBTZ). Overall, the experiences were a once in a lifetime view of Tanzania with a tour leader, Hillary, and support staff that made the adventure exciting, safe and always enjoyable. Riding excellent OBTZ Giant 29er mountain bikes and with a support vehicle always following, Hillary will modify the itinerary from an extreme physical challenge to a leisurely paced exploration. This is NOT a ride along the highway cycling adventure; we cycled in parts of Tanzania where typical tourists never go. Imagine seeing a giraffe or zebra just off the side of the path and being able to get off your bike to take pictures. We cycled past Maasai Villages and typical towns and were able to learn and experience how these friendly/welcoming people live. Our accommodations were top notch and each was unique; the food was plentiful and excellent. In addition, OBTZ is a company that actively supports the local community and is driven to improve the environmental challenges in Tanzania. In the end, we felt like we were a family.

  You will never regret booking a cycling tour with One Bike Tanzania! Hillary and his staff are AMAZING, and they will do everything they can to make sure your adventure is perfect for you. Whether you are looking for an extreme physical challenge, are curious to explore places most tourists will never see, or just want to enjoy the magnificent Tanzanian scenery rolling by at a leisurely pace, OBTZ can make it happen. When a sports injury forced us to cancel our trip at the last minute, they worked with us to reschedule at a later date, and adjusted the ride plan to match. Every day was filled with good-natured camaraderie and exciting new experiences, and every night was another unique lodge or camp offering great comfort and food to recharge for the next ride ahead. Hillary was always there leading the way and cheering us on, while Immanuel always had our back in the support van behind us, ready for anything from a quick snack to a flat tire. By the end of our ten-day cycling adventure, we felt like a family. This is the way to explore Tanzania! The best part of all: OBTZ isn’t just a tour company—they are a community-based social enterprise that uses cycling as a way to improve the environment and the lives of the people in their community.   OneBike organized a tailor-made bike ride between Moshi and Lake Maniara followed by a day in Ngorongoro Crater. All according to my budget and the time available. It was wonderful. Between the Kili and Mount Meru in the Maasai plains then a little difference in level on pebbles... the arrival at Lake Maniara, the day at Ngorongoro then the descent! Splendid landscapes, amidst animals (zebras, giraffes, gazelles, wildebeest,...), beautiful encounters and of course, all on a bike. Next time, Chagga villages and the Kili tour? With our tents on the bike maybe this time. I also spent several days in Moshi to learn more about OneBike’s activities and support them in their projects to combat pollution and support the local community.   My experience could not have been more enjoyable thanks to the planning and hospitality of One Bike. I enjoyed five days of bicycling and took a day for a safari at the Crater which also exceeded my expectations. The trip was very safe with excellent accommodations and great flexibility as One Bike made every effort to accommodate what I wanted to accomplish on this trip. I very highly recommend

  This experience was my first ever cycling trip and I can now say I'm a huge cycling tour fan! Every day was a challenge (but achievable), in a way that led to an incredible amount of personal satisfaction. The terrain was quite varied day-to-day, which made the trip even more interesting and allowed us to see such a variety of what Tanzania has to offer. Being away from main roads for large periods of the trip allowed for untouched natural beauty, meeting different villages / tribes, and biking among giraffes, zebra, wildebeest and other wild life. Hillary, our guide, was fantastic - very knowledgeable about cycling and Tanzania, and eager to share. He was also very accommodating, adjusting daily itineraries to our preferences and arranging a safari for our last day. I signed up for a cycling trip and left the experience with a new hobby / passion, a love for Tanzania, and new friends.

  I did this cycling tour from Moshi to Ngorogoro and it was amazing. Every day is so different and every day there are surprises. By bike you are in close contact with the people along the way and you also see a lot of animals! It is really a nice mix of culture and nature. The rides are sometimes challenging because of the sand but the surroundings are wonderful! Hillary is an amazing guide! He knows a lot and can tell interesting things. He is very open and makes you feel very comfortable! And everything is so well organized. I really really recommend this tour to everyone!
