  As a solo female traveler, feeling safe is never something I take for granted. From the moment I met Seydou, that worry disappeared. He didn't just make me feel welcome — he made me feel cared for. During my stay, there was a Senegal vs Gambia match, and without me even asking, Seydou went out of his way to get me a ticket and took me with him to experience it live. That night is one I'll never forget. Getting around Dakar can be challenging, but Seydou's motorcycle was a game changer. He drove safely, we avoided all the traffic, and I got to see so much more of Senegal in a short time than I ever could have on my own. I ended up hiring him for the rest of my stay. I trusted him completely with the planning, and he never let me down. Every day, he showed me something new and beautiful. If you're a solo traveler — especially a woman — and you want someone who will look out for you, show you the real Senegal, and do it all with kindness and care, book Seydou.   An extraordinary guide, human, attentive and impressive culture, he introduced me to his country with heart and great depth. Much more than just a visit, it was a real encounter. He allowed me to discover Dakar differently, on a scooter (what a time saver), then the island of Gorée whose history upset me (he knew it by heart because he lives there). My stay was long he offered me the visit of Casamance (Carabane) a unique experience, and on the return I chose a day for the great Mosque of Touba. Seydou is very flexible and accommodating.   That's not 'only' a sight seeing tour, it is a great experience and fantastic adventure. Because the (fast and safe) scooter ride through the traffic, it's possible to reach so many different places on one day. And the guide Seydou showed me that places, I wanted to see and much more comparing to my interest and unexpected visits, a normal tourists would not see. A 'real' local market, inside the manufactoring of repair and craft producer, visiting and talking to washerwoman and a natural herbal medicine pharmacia, an artists commune, plus the 'must see' places of Dakar. A tour with Seydou is every minute of it an exciting adventure.
