Tomomi was a great guide and teacher in our class! She was very pleasant and patient with us, and served us green tea and snacks. Overall, a great and relaxing experience in the heart of Tokyo, this is a must-do in Japan!

We had an amazing time with Totomi learning to make a daruma. She was really patient in explaining all the steps and we had some nice chats :) I really recommend this experience if you want a calm activity to relax after the hustle of Shinjuku !

If you like making crafts, this experience is awesome. You learn about daruma dolls and your humbling (non?) artistic skills (LOL) but this workshop will be one of the best memories we have of Japan. Tomomi was great! We plan to bring our granddaughter here when we return to Tokyo.

If you like creativity, handcraft and would love to here about the background/history of what you decided to make this is the perfect place for you. The host, Tomomi is really friendly and helpful (and patient if you're a slow decision maker :)). The place is close to the Shinjuku station and to the Gyoen National Garden so you can spend a hole they in the neighborhood.

Tomomi-san was so sweet! She even sent an early message with a map and said she was so excited to meet us! We were the only ones there, and it allowed for more conversation and time with her, which was wonderful! She's very attentive, and quick to help if needed. Very encouraging and informative as she explained the origins of daruma! The experience also included snacks! And a little combo gift of some origami ornimeand souvenirs! This class and its instructor is a 15/10! Would absolutely tell others to try it out!

Great workshop, good fun. Host was delightful, very friendly and accommodating. We left with our own hand made darumas, some history and knowledge of both the dolls and their history (and directions to a great dango eatery). Highly recommend.

Tomomi was very lovely, she came out to find us when we were lost. There workshop was great, she provided instructions and examples and was very conversational. We got little souvenirs and two lovely darumas. She told us their history and what they mean to Japanese people. 10/10 would recommend to everyone :)

I made a Daruma doll at this workshop during my trip to Japan in July. I really enjoyed learning about Japanese culture while chatting with the host. Whether you are a Japanese or foreign tourist, this workshop is definitely recommended for those who like handicrafts!

I joined my 3-year-old daughter and brother in making cute icing cookies! I'd like to see icing cookies on something! I didn't know how to do what I was told, so I searched online and found this one! Whenever it doesn't work, I'm like, 'I can't!' My daughter, who has a temper tantrum, was also able to make a nice icing cookie while having fun from start to finish because the teacher is so kind and very good at teaching♡ It was a great time for my brothers to make various things as they like! You can experience many other things besides cookies, so I'd love to join again!
