See some of Croatia’s most rugged and beautiful terrain on this adventurous, 1-day hiking trip. Depart in the early morning by car from Zagreb and make your way to Croatia’s mountainous Gorski Kotar region, often called “the Green Lungs of Croatia” because of its thick forests. Your destination is National Park Risnjak,  one of Croatias best kept secrets! See the famous Schlosser hut, optionally scramble to the top of the rocks and see the sea on clear days. Return by evening back to Zagreb, where the tour ends. This is a long lasting day, feeling as two!

Dress code: Durable hiking shoes, long hiking pants, windproof jacket, small raincoat, backpack (available on request), comfortable walking clothing, hat

Optional: sunglasses, sunscreen, spare clothes (pack in closed bags to leave in the car), camera.
