What To Expect
Jerash Ruins
Explore some of Jordan’s historical treasures on this full-day private tour to Jerash, Ajloun, and Umm Qais from Amman. Head towards Jerash and delve into its rich history as you explore its colonnaded streets, hilltop temples, amphitheater, public squares, plazas, and temples. Jerash is one of the best preserved classical sites; a rich and prosperous Greek and Roman city. It was founded by Alexander the Great around 331 BC, it later became one of the great Decapolis cities of the east. It is also a Bronze settlement where you can find the Temple of Artemis, the Forum, the oval plaza, as well as Hadrian’s Arch. Learn about the city and how it rose with a Greek federation, and then lived through the Muslim and Christian rule, which eventually fell during the Crusades.
Ajlun Castle (Qala'at ar-Rabad)
Proceed to Ajloun and visit the Ajloun Castle; a 12th Century fortress built by the forces of Saladin against the Crusaders. It was built to dominate the 3 major passages into northwest Jordan. This hilltop edifice is a striking example of medieval Arab-Islamic military architecture. The structures, towers, chambers, galleries, and staircases that form part of the town, as well as the beautiful scenery that surrounds the hills nearby, will captivate you for sure. Climb into the tower and look around to take in the historical atmosphere and delve into the picturesque views of the Jordan Valley to the Dead Sea.

I wasn’t feeling well, and he went out of his way to make me comfortable; he even brought me tea and took extra time to ensure I felt okay. I never felt rushed, and the ride was smooth and relaxing. 5.00My day tour driver, Omar Nairat, was absolutely fantastic! He was super friendly, patient, and knowledgeable about Jordanian culture and history. He was punctual and dependable. I made arrangements to see Jerash and Ajloun near Umm Qais the day before my date request. He sought me through WhatsApp and messaged me an introduction with minor coordinating instructions which were very helpful. He took me to all the designated spots, shared relevant stories, and gave me amazing recommendations for trying local food. He supplied water and brochures of the planned visits and also places recommended. Omar stopped by a local juice stand and ordered me fresh pomegranate juice that he said I must try. It was very good. He shared stories of his family which opened up conversations rather easily. His expertise and passion for Jordan made my day truly unforgettable. I'd highly recommend him for anyone looking for an authentic and personalized experience in Jordan. Thanks for an incredible day!

5.00Excellent experience, our diver Faisal was very knowledgeable about the area and very professional, I’ll recommend him 100%. Regarding admission fee to the attractions you must have some cash because they don’t accept card. Overall we had a great experience.
