Bandia park reserve is one of the major attractions in Senegal for tourists staying in Dakar or nearby area. It is a conservation park that helps protect some African wildlife like giraffes, rhinos, a variety of antelopes, buffaloes, monkeys, crocodiles, tortoises and more. This tour will give you a chance to watch closely the wildlife in an eco-friendly nature. Also, you will enjoy a wonderful boat ride in Somone lagoon - another eco-park providing a natural habitat for birds in a lush mangrove.

Very nice day safari at Bandia Reserve

5.00A representative was at the pier with a sign with my name waiting to pick us up. We rode in a very nice van to the wildlife reserve. At the park we rode in an open vehicle and we were able to see many animals such as zebras, monkeys, giraffes, buffalo, rhinos, ostriches, alligators, etc. that roam freely in the very large reserve. The reserve was about an 1 1/2 hour ride from the pier and we spent about 2 hours there. Then we rode about an hour to a lagoon where we we able to ride in a boat and we're delighted to see many waterfowl. We returned to our ship without worry.
The trip is not worth the money!

2.00I was picked up from the hotel in a car without air conditioning, so I had to sit for an hour and a half there and back, on the highway, with the windows open, in the heat, dust and polluted air. The guide did not give much information about the sights visited, and his English was not very good. For lunch, there was a variety to choose from, but the food was not very good. I say it is not worth the money because the entrance to the reservation is only 19€, and the boat ride in the lagoon cannot be too expensive. I do not recommend it, but it was my only option, traveling alone.

5.00Responsive , made sure I was good, picked me up from the airport and my luggage was able to stay in the car, and made sure I got to my Airbnb safely. They were kind and respectful and shared history tidbits along the way.

5.00We had a great day. Everything felt calm and not rushed. The sights were amazing. Information was helpful. And lots of pauses for great pictures. The safari and Laguna was very peaceful and beautiful. Would definitely recommend!!
