Appreciating the diversity of Balkan culture can be difficult, especially with limited time in the region. Explore Macedonian culture on a day tour to Skopje from Sofia, and tick off another Balkan capital in just 1 day. Enjoy the company of 2 professional guides - one from Bulgaria and one local from Macedonian. Travel the distance with ease via modern vehicle, and discover landmarks including the Skopje Fortress, Memorial House of Mother Teresa, and Old Bazaar, with insights provided by your guides. During this day tour you will have the chance to visit one of the most bizarre cities on the Balkan Peninsula. After the reconstruction of the new center has been done, as per the “Skopje 2014” project, the city became one of the popular destinations in Eastern Europe.

We are so delighted that we took this trip as the whole experience was amazing and worth the journey. Ivan was our driver and did an excellent job of getting us to and from Skopje. His vehicle was very comfortable and he made sure we had comfort breaks on the journey. Lena our guide in Skopje was excellent and gave us a great walking tour explaining the history of the area. Skopje was an amazing place to visit and we would love to return to it as there was so much more to explore. Highly recommend this tour and the tour company are excellent.

Good experience and way to see a new country. The old bazaar was our favourite. Just been mindful when booking this trip there’s a lot of walking but it’s 100% worth it!

The Tour was very historic and had beautiful viewings. Great driver very friendly, treated you not as a tourist but as a friend, gave lots of explanations and information and tips. Proud to have taken this tour, it was definitely worth it.

Wonderful service from Dimo who picked me up from my hotel and gave us some interesting details about Sofia and Bulgaria during our drive. Our guide in skopje was very good and took us to all of the sites in the city and gave us a lot of interesting history about the country. The drive didn't feel that long and it was very comfortable. I didn't know a lot about Macedonia before I went so this was a great introduction to the country.

It is a long drive with a lot of time in the van but it was comfortable and well worth it. The tour in Skopje did seem rather rushed but I think the guide wanted to make sure that we had plenty of time to expend exploring on our own. We thoroughly enjoyed our day.
