Red Lake

Red Lake in Carpathian Mountains , Romania is one of the most spectacular lakes in the center - eastern Europe . To top it up , 10 minutes away from the lake we will visit the breathtaking Bicaz Gorge.

It is probably the most spectacular in the whole country , once arrived you won't want to leave , just prepare to be stunned .

I and 2 friends took part in the long (8 hours) quad tour organised by Transylvanian Outdoor Adventure starting from Lunca de Sus. Robert, Endi and Greg were very helpful with the necessary arrangements. The views we enjoyed during the tour were truly amazing. My strongest memory is of seeing 2 young horses running along our quads on top of a mountain. I strongly recommend this Quad tour and we plan to come back and use this company‘s services in the future for other outdoor adventures

Highly recommended, and will definitely go again. The tour we went on was 100km, lasting many hours and very cheap for the cost. The views are spectacular and the routes are incredibly fun. We went across various mountain ranges, rivers and forests and visited places you'd normally never experience in Transylvania. A hidden gem in my opinion! Cannot stress how enjoyable it was. Best atv tour you could ever go on.

Friends and I were looking for a fun, outdoor activity during our stay in Romania. We discovered the quad experience with Transylvanian Wonders. Owners Greg and Rob were great. Fantastic views and lots to learn also. A must do experience.

The trails brought us through some of the best Mountain View’s and rural farming areas I have ever witnessed. The trails were just challenging enough, nothing too difficult.
