What To Expect
Akagera National Park
Visitors to Akagera can expect to encounter a wide variety of plains game, including majestic elephants, formidable buffalo herds, graceful topi, striking zebras, and various antelope species such as waterbuck, roan antelope, and eland. Smaller antelope species also abound, with duiker, oribi, bohor reedbuck, klipspringer, bushbuck, and impala frequently spotted throughout the park. Primate enthusiasts will delight in observing olive baboons and vervet monkeys during daylight hours, while the more secretive blue monkey may reward patient observers. Akagera's ecosystem supports a range of predators, including the stealthy leopard, opportunistic hyena, and side-striped jackal. 5.00Gad was educational during the survey, polite and supportive. We were able to see 4 out of the big 5, and many other animals. They also served us breakfast.

5.00What a wonderful day I lived with Yambitours Safari in Akagera Park. Nice group, nice weather, nice guide. We nearly saw all the big five. Only one was missing. We saw many more animals from mammals to birds, olive baboons feeding babies, elephant feeding babies, rhinos white and black, lions, and many more. All that in a day, with delicious breakfast in the park, all house made by Yambi Guesthouse. If you look for an unforgettable safari, with a very kind guide, explaining you the life of these wild animals, don't hesitate, make Yambitours.com 's choice. I tell you, you won't regret it! What a splendid day this safari in Akagera park with Yambitours. We saw almost all the "big five", we were missing only one. We have seen many other animals from mammals to birds, such as olive baboons feeding their young and peeling, elephants herding, playing in the water and feeding their young, white and black rhinos, lionesses and many other animals. All this during the day, with a delicious breakfast, homemade, by Yambi Guesthouse, taken in the park. 5.00This was a great day trip safari from Kigali. Gad the guide was very knowledgeable and Kevin the driver was masterful. They were able to spot many animals even in the distance. Lunch in the park was very good. There was a stopping point halfway on the drive with good breakfasts, snacks, coffee and clean restrooms. I am so glad I was able to include this Yambi Tours Akagera safari on my Rwanda trip.
