What To Expect
This Tour takes you to the Dutch Noordoostpolder , where we will follow the famous 100 km-long Tulip Route (according to National Geographic “one of the world's most beautiful road trips”). For many of our participants, this is an experience of a lifetime. The Tour is something special because it takes you to the ACTUAL FARMFIELDS (not the gardens like "Keukenhof". You have to see it to believe it. 9.00 - 10.15 AM: Transfer to the "Noordoostpolder". 10.15 - 10.45: Break for Coffee/ Tea and local spized biscuit (included in the tour). 10.45 - 14.00: Actual Road Trip (Tulip Route) along the farmfields. You can admire the amazing colorful fields from the Van, but there are also stops to take photographs and to walk along the edges of the impressive fields to see the Tulips up close! 14.00 - 15.00: Break at "Tulip experience field": visit the show garden/ take (optional) lunch. 15.00 17.00: we complete the last stretch of the Tulip Route and afterwards head back to Amsterdam.

5.00Wonderful tour of the Tulip route. Seeing the endless fields of bright, beautiful tulips and walking in them was amazing. Simon, our guide, was extremely helpful and upbeat and we enjoyed the small touches like the snack bags and coffee stop. We had a fantastic day! Be sure to do this mid to late April when it's available.
Extremely unique, amazing day trip experience. Would recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam during the tulip season!

5.00I was traveling with my father and was looking for something a little more unique, a slightly different way to experience the tulip season around Amsterdam and this tour hit the spot in every single way. We absolutely loved the trip and couldn’t believe how many fields we got to see not only from the sky but up close and personal on foot during stops along the way. Simon was a phenomenal host, he educated us throughout the day and was extremely welcoming and made everyone feel comfortable. We really enjoyed the small group aspect of this trip, with only 6 total people part of our group, it made it feel more personal and less tour bus like. We loved the coffee stop and amazing spice cake, and the thoughtful snack bags we all got to start the day. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone in the area during the short window the tulip fields are in bloom!

5.00One of the best moments of our trip (and we had a great trip!)!! Five of us, with our amazing guide, Simon, went on a long tour of the tulip fields. The weather was iffy (but Simon can't actually control that), but somehow we managed to avoid most of the rain and actually had glorious sunshine for much of our route and most of our stops at the fields. We loved this experience - we got to actually walk out to the tulip fields and see so many different ones, in various stages of the growth and "topping" cycle. It was truly a dream-come-true excursion, and we loved it. Nice stops along the way for snacks and coffee/hot chocolate, too. I would definitely book with this tour group again!

5.00Visiting the Tulip fields of the Netherlands was amazing. I knew it was going to be great based on photo's I've seen since childhood. Being it the fields exceeded any prior notion I had. If you're lucky enough to get the timing right you will be astounded as was I.

5.00If you're looking for an alternative to Keukenhof, this is it! My daughter and I actually wanted to do this over touristy Keukenhof. Very personalized, driver was very knowledgeable, engaging, very kind and patient, knew exactly where he was going and what fields were the best to see. The early bloom in 2024 means the fields around Lisse were already cut or weather beaten by late April. The fields in Noordoostpolder were in beautiful high bloom and the weather couldn't have been better. They provide a substantial snack pack with a bottle of water. Be sure to wear shoes you dont mind getting a little muddy. You can't rent a car for the day for this price and the peace of mind knowing you're going with professionals who know the area. I wouldn't dream of trying to do this on our own, we would have gotten lost 100 times! It's a long route, took about 5 hours (pick up at 9 near Centraal and drop off about 5 same place) definitely a life changing experience. You will be thrilled to your core!

5.00Forget about the Keukenhof or other touristy places near Amsterdam. This Daytrip is the real thing! Endless tulip fields in the biggest flower growing region of the country!! The van drives along them, with stops at certain farms to make photo’s and pick your own tulips! I still remember all the colors and the wonderful smell. This was our best day out when we were in Holland. Don’t miss it because the tulip season doesn’t last long..
