From late November to mid-April, it may not be possible to visit Stepantsminda (Kazbegi) and Gergeti Trinity Church. The government sometimes closes the roads for safety. This is beyond our control, and your safety is our top priority.
What To Expect
At 08:30, our guide meets you in front of Avlabari Metro Station with our company’s branded flag. He/she will show you where our office is. After you complete the check-in procedure, you will wait a few minutes in our office until your tour starts.
Zhinvali Water Reservoir
One of the leading eye attractions of this tour will be the Zhinvali Water Reservoir. This beautiful, greenish-colored reservoir is the leading photo stop in this direction and attracts visitors with its color and forested mountain surroundings.

5.00Amazing day trip to Kazbegi Mountains! Super beautiful landscapes and excellent driving by Nodo on - in some parts - was a precarious but exciting road. Can’t forget to shout out to Maria who was an amazing guide and provided us with amazing tips and information about the locations we visited as well as Georgian culture overall! While it’s a big trip it’s absolutely worth it if you’re visiting Georgia!

5.00The Gamarjoba Tour to Kazbegi Mountains was amazing. The tour was very well paced and we had a nice balance of explanations/tour and free time to explore the different stops. Our tour guide Anna was A M A Z I N G. She was so kind and welcoming and the passion she has for her job was so evident. Thank you for a great trip Anna.

5.00Kazbegi Mountains Tour was extremely well organised. Views were spectacular, lunch was good and at a beautiful location, all staff spoke good English and were pleasant and helpful. The guide, Beki, was informative and interesting; without being intrusive. Highly recommended.

5.00I did the Kazbegi day trip with Gamarjoba Georgia Tours, guided by Ana, and the scenery was absolutely stunning. The mountains, views, and overall landscape are completely worth seeing, and Ana was a great guide throughout the day: kind, informative, and attentive. Gamarjoba did a very good job organizing the tour and making the day as comfortable as possible. My main advice to other travellers would be to consider staying overnight in Kazbegi rather than doing it only as a day trip from Tbilisi. The drive is long, especially on hilly and winding roads, and doing the full journey there and back in one day can be tiring. Some people in our group did the tour with us but stayed back in Kazbegi for the night, and in hindsight that seemed like a very wise choice. The destination itself is absolutely worth it, but I think it would be even better enjoyed at a slower pace. Overall, this was a beautiful and memorable trip, and Ana was excellent.
