The first place where you will stop is a shop to buy snacks. Since the area doesn't have good restaurants and we do not have a lunch stop, you should get some snacks not to feel too hungry and uncomfortable. And next, we go to a salty lake, where we have an outstanding possibility to take some nice pictures. The lake is on the way to David Gareji Lavra, and the views are astonishing for taking memorable photos. In total, for the shop and the lake, we will have 30 minutes.

Going on this day trip was an absolute breath of fresh air in all possible ways. From the customer service, arrangements, location and the service provided during the trip. A special thanks to our guide Shoti who amazed us not just by being our host throughout the trip, but with the amount of knowledge he has of history and geology not just within Georgia but the surrounding countries as well. A highly recommended tour agency that I'll definitely go with again and again!

Worthy trip to a remote part of the country, with a guide who knows both facts and legends.

My trip to Georgia was absolutely wonderful. The tour perfectly combined history, culture, and breathtaking nature. From the ancient churches of Mtskheta , Gori and Uplistsikhe, every moment felt magical. The guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about Georgian history. I learned so much about local traditions, tasted food I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to discover the true heart of Georgia — a country full of warmth, beauty, and soul.

The tour guide, Dimitri, was very professional and speaks excellent English. The trip is short but absolutely worth it. We traveled by minivan through barren hills near the Azerbaijan border. We visited a monastery surrounded by defensive walls, rich in history. Dimitri explained everything clearly and competently. For lunch, I recommend bringing snacks. After that, Dimitri guided us on a hike in the Rainbow Mountains—breathtaking scenery. Do not underestimate the wind: it can be very strong. In winter it is extremely cold. Avoid this tour when it rains.

This was our final trip during our visit to Georgia, and we couldn’t have asked for a better tour to end it with. It encapsulates some of the elements that make Georgia such a wonderful country to visit — the stunning landscapes and the fascinating history of religion and its development. The David Gareja complex is truly intriguing, especially once you understand the context and history of the site, which our guide explained very well. The Rainbow Mountains provide the perfect backdrop for memorable photos — ones you'll look back on for years to come. One thing we would recommend is wearing good footwear, as the terrain can be quite slippery if it has rained beforehand. Our tour guide gave us plenty of time to take photos and even suggested the best angles, which was very helpful. On the way back, our guide also played some traditional polyphonic music, which was a lovely touch and helped us feel even more immersed in Georgian culture. We would definitely recommend this trip.
