Message received the day before confirming our attendance, with the exact pick up location and the bus registration (this changed the day of but one of the drivers came to speak to us when we arrived and put us on the correct mini bus). The journey is very bumpy but good driving. Arrived and location and placed on a boat, another group was placed on the same boat before this left. No further communication at all. On arrival at the location the other tour group were told to be back at the boat for 2pm but we were not given any information - we arrived back for 2pm which was the correct time for us as well. The location is lovely, not too busy and the trip caused no real issues. On arrival back at the starting point of the boat we were met by the driver who collected us and ushered us to a different bus but again this was no problem. Good tour in all

5.00What a day! This trip from Shkodër to the Shala River was one of the most beautiful experiences I had in Albania. It started with a comfortable bus ride to Koman, and I must say — Rivio, our driver, was great. Quiet, professional and incredibly friendly. You immediately noticed that he knew those roads like the back of his hand. From Koman we got on a boat and sailed through the breathtaking landscape of Lake Koman — steep cliffs, deep green water and a silence broken only by the gentle hum of the engine. When we got to the Shala River... wow. It's like stepping into a postcard. Crystal clear turquoise water, perfect for swimming, surrounded by unspoilt nature. Everything was excellently arranged by Travel North Albania. No stress, no hassle — just pure enjoyment. If you are in the north and looking for a day of adventure and tranquility, then this trip is an absolute must. I'd do it again in no time.

5.00The trip from Shkodra to the Shala River was simply magical. The boat ride across Komani Lake offers breathtaking views of towering mountains and crystal-clear waters that leave you speechless. When you arrive at the Shala River, it feels like stepping into a hidden paradise – the water is so turquoise and pure that it looks like the Caribbean, but surrounded by Albania’s wild nature.

2.00Nice but not as nice as it could be. Great driver, ok boat trip (even if it broke down on way back), zero information.. and a waste of 3 hrs of your life in middle of nowhere at a stop with nearly no facilities..
