What To Expect
Archaeological Park of Pompeii
Visit included only if this tour option is chosen. Pompei is a city and comune in the Metropolitan City of Naples in Italy, home of the ancient Roman ruins part of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It is one of the most significant proofs of Roman civilization and, like an open book, provides outstanding information on the art, customs, trades and everyday life of the past. The city has re-emerged from the darkness of centuries precisely as it would have been when it was unexpectedly buried in the thick layer of ash and lava which poured down from the devastating eruption of Vesuvius.
Amalfi Coast
Magically suspended between the blue sky and the iridescent colored sea, the Amalfi coast seems to be born from the palette of a painter who wanted to use the warmer color gradients for creating a landscape that enchants the visitor at the first shot, giving thrilling experience and such evocative view to doubt, for a moment, it is real. It is the land where the sweet scent of lemon blossoms harmonizes itself with the most aromatic one of the Mediterranean vegetation and the acrid aroma of saltiness; where the brilliant colors of the majolica domes, bougainvillea and carnations pergolas give an evident colored touch to the typical whitewashed houses, clinging to the last offshoots of the Lattari Mounts that plunge dramatically into the sea.

5.00We used RomeInLimo from our pick up at the airport and immediately started our Day of Rome tour (all the city highlights) and we booked the Day trip from Rome to Pompeli and the Amalfi Coast. Peter was our driver and guide for the City Tour and driver for Pompeli & Amalfi Coast (he was amazing, provided much valuable information, and was friendly and professional). I worked with Jany from RomeInLimo while planning our trip and she provided great information (times to purchase our tickets to different attractions) she responded to emails timely and arranged for guides where needed. They do not purchase any tickets for you but can provide you links to purchase them (very easy). Would 100% recommend this company. Wish they were in other countries! Excellent and friendly.
Most amazing experience! Would recommend to everyone! And would recommend Nick as a driver and tour guide!

5.00We had the most amazing trip with Rome in Limo this past summer! There were 8 people in our group, of varying ages, and none of us had ever been to Italy before, so having a dedicated driver and guide throughout the trip made it stress-free. We got to see everything on our lists! We were picked up from the airport and taken to our hotel. The next morning, we were picked up by our amazing driver and tour guide, Nick. We had Nick for the next few days as he took us to Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast, and Florence. We would recommend Nick to everyone! He was not only knowledgeable, but personable, spoke excellent English and went above and beyond to help us. One of the members of our group needed medical care and Nick helped translate with the ambulance drivers, as well as helped us navigate how the health system works there and even helped find rides to and from the hospital for us in the evenings. He knew so much history about Rome, Florence, Pompeii and the towns we passed on the way. It kept us entertained and we learned so much more than we would have if we had gone to the attractions on our own. Anyone taking tours with the company should ask for Nick. I would also suggest Rome in Limo for any group travelling in Italy. The planning was extremely easy, each day was smooth as we were picked up outside our front door each morning, driven in a comfortable, air-conditioned van to each attraction, and had pick up and drop off right in front! No parking and no waiting in lines! We got to see so much in just a few days, and we had the time of our life stress-free!

5.00This is the most money I’ve ever spent on an excursion and it was WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! Don’t hesitate- book and give your family a stress free memorable experience. Pick up right at our hotel, coordinated with our guide in Pompeii and took us right to him. After our Pompeii tour our driver met us and escorted us back to the van where he took us on the most beautiful drive through Amalfi stopping at the most picturesque spots for photos along the way

5.00Pietro was an excellent guide and driver that took very good care of us. Our guide inside the ruins of Pompeii was equally good. She was very knowledgeable and made sure that we saw the most important parts of that immense city. Positano was a delight as we sat seaside and enjoyed a delicious seafood lunch. A very memorable day made more special by the people who looked after us to make our vacation the best it could be.
Our private trip to the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii was awesome!

5.00This was an incredible private day trip with Peter, our driver and guide. Peter picked my sister and me up at our hotel in Rome, and we left for the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. Throughout the tour, he pointed to breathtaking and exciting sites. Peter was a perfect gentleman. He held our interest by discussing Italian culture and the surrounding countryside. He even treated my sister and me to a lemon slush! Peter took the time to make reservations for us at a superb seaport restaurant. Our Pompeii tour guide, Elizabeth, was highly knowledgeable. Each of our questions was clearly answered. Peter and Elizabeth's personal touch made our trip more pleasurable than ever imagined. If you have a chance, take this tour. You'll love it!

5.00Rome in Limo is the best excursion company in Europe. After using multiple companies and groups thoroughout Europe, they have the most seamless process, best customer service, best drivers and best expert guides. They offer a ticket concierge, Lucia, who booked everything for us and saved us from waiting hours in lines or missing sites. Italy was our favorite country on the trip and Rome in Limo facilitated that for my group of 6 with all private excursions from Pompei to Florence. We will use Rome in Limo when we return in 2 years. Livio was one of our favorite people to meet during the whole trip. Thank you so much!

5.00Great communication on pickup, etc. Our driver was Mario and he was a great kid with lots of personality, very pleasant conversation in English. The Amalfi coast is a very scary road and he was an excellent driver. The only time I was scared is when some other driver did something stupid - usually crazy people on Vespas! We added the Bosco de' Medici Winery tour on our route and I am so glad we did, we loved it! It wasn’t very clear on Daytrip that the tour tickets were not included. I had to go to the winery’s website to book the tickets, so be aware of that if you add a tour along the way.
