Wonderful tour organized really well! Everything perfect. Surely tiring, in two days we covered about 1400 km, but it really deserves so much. We visited El Jem with the Roman amphitheater, the home of the troglodytes, saw the Sahara desert with its wonderful dunes and saw the sunset and dinner in the desert , saw the sunrise at the great salt lake , visited the waterfalls and canyon in Tamerza, saw tozeur .... So many lovely places. Super recommended

I spent quite a bit of time researching tours in Tunisia, and I’m so glad I chose this one! The team is incredibly dedicated, and the experience was amazing from start to finish. Our guide was not only very knowledgeable about the country’s history, culture, and religion, but also had the perfect balance between talking and letting us rest. She answered all our questions with ease and explained everything, including the delicious local food we tried along the way. The itinerary was perfect, with stunning views throughout and a memorable overnight stay in the desert. The desert experience was incredible—comfortable beds under the countless shining stars, offering a breathtaking nighttime view. It was such a unique and beautiful moment. The driver was excellent—careful and cautious, which is not very common here, so that was a huge relief. They were also flexible with stops, allowing us to take longer breaks if needed. What really stood out was how they managed to avoid crowds at most tourist spots—we were mostly alone in these beautiful locations. It felt like a private experience! Highly recommend this tour! Very dedicated people, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice!!!

A few months prior to my trip I booked a desert trip for my family of 4 that includes my 9 and 6 year old daughters. I wanted a trip that would fit in between my stays in Djerba and Monastir. After doing a bit of research I came upon a little company called Caravane du Sahara that I decided to take a chance on. It had a few reviews written online (mostly in French) and is locally run. I made contact through WhatsApp and told Ali what I was looking to do. He created a plan and offered a price and that was reasonable. When it was time for the trip to happen my family was met at our hotel on time by our driver and guide with a Jeep that was in very good condition. Our first day included some stops in the desert (camel ride extra) and ended in the dunes of the Sahara. The highlight of the trip was camping overnight in the Sahara, just my family and 2 Bedouin caretakers who had prepared the campsite and prepared our meals (miles from other people). Our second day included more stops in the desert with an overnight stay in a hotel in Tozeur. The hotel was nice with everything needed for a good nights rest. Our 3rd day was the long drive north to Monastir which is where I had requested we be dropped off when the trip was planned. I highly recommend using Caravane du Sahara if you want to visit Tunisia and stay away from large bus tours.

An incredible experience. With very good guides. Bilel picked us up promptly at our hotel to take us to Ksar-Hallouf, which is impressive, then to the Ksar-Ghilan oasis and from there we continued the trip until we reached Douz. So we changed cars and in a 4x4 truck we entered the desert with two more companions, who set up the tent, the living room and prepared the table and the food. It was a beautiful experience eating with them under the stars and on cushions and rugs...all very beautifully prepared. We slept wonderfully well and at 6:00 am we saw the sunrise in the desert while they prepared an exquisite breakfast, then we continued our entire trip as planned. Visiting the Berber women in Matmata is an unmissable experience!! Thank you very much dear dream team from Caravana del Sahara, especially to Bilel, Mohamed and our other friend. It was an experience of silence, kindness and beauty of the desert and the people who led us to it.

Unforgettable experience. It's worth trying at least once in your life. Over the course of two days, the program included notable sites and traditional meals. The “pearl in the crown” was the evening and night spent in the heart of the SAHARA. Imagine the starry night and the moon illuminating the immensity of the desert, like in the most beautiful dream. I hope to do this adventure again, with Ali Benbouali and our friends.
