We were looking for art-related experiences in Delhi and this street art walk did not disappoint. JD was engaging, knowledgable and entertaining. The pace was perfect to see and appreciate many of the street murals while not feeling rushed at all. Alternating between walking and driving between the murals was perfect for our group. The high schoolers loved it, and even my 12-year-old was won over by JD's delicious chai and the animals (dogs and cows) we met along the way. He took so many great pictures of us, shared stories, and pointed out details we never would have noticed on our own. Highly recommended and we look forward to booking with JD for some of his other experiences in the future!

The Lodhi Art District walk in Delhi was fantastic! JD was a great guide and provided very good and very interesting information. It is clear that he is passionate about the street art in Delhi and his passion clearly shows through. The various murals are beautiful and meaningful, and JD does a great job in bringing out that meaning. We would highly recommend this Walk/tour.

JD’s Lodhi Art District walk was one of the best ways we could have started a Delhi morning. JD is a fantastic storyteller. You don’t just “see murals”, you understand what the artists were trying to say as JD has met many of the artists personally. He guided us through pieces by Indian and international artists, pointing out small details you’d not likely notice alone, like the humour hidden in the imagery, the “call your mom” message, a portal-arch to health and wealth, and the clever social commentary about phones, algorithms and how we view the world through a screen. We also loved the air-pollution ink mural explanation and the pandemic “lockdown” arch narrative. JD kept things relaxed, interactive (great photo moments), and genuinely engaging. The chai, biscuits and little snacks were such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommended if you want art + local insight, not just sightseeing.

A brilliant tour! JD is hugely knowledgeable about the murals and artists. He brought some delicious chai and snacks to share and took us to the beautiful Lodhi Gardens too. A great way to experience a calm and green side of the Delhi. Perfect for female solo travellers - highly recommend!

Our date, JD, was super helpful even before the meeting. The visit to the artistic district of Lodhi and the gardens definitely went beyond our expectations 🧡 JD interspersed the explanations of the most important murals with stories of life and history of his country, making the visit even more interesting and taking good pictures with the works. Nice idea to bring chai, treats and snacks for a little break. English was definitely above average! He explained that he does other tours and also cooking classes. in short, a tour and above all a highly recommended guide!

Really nice to see the artworks of the art district with someone who obviously has great appreciation of them and knows the meanings behind each piece. Lovely touch having the homemade chai and edibles. We finished off in the Lodhi gardens which were very peaceful. The whole area was very calm compared to some other parts of Delhi. Really recommend this tour for something different in Delhi.

We had originally booked the food tour, but when Chandni Chowk was unexpectedly closed for unrelated reasons, JD quickly arranged an alternative tour for us, which was such a help as it was our final day in Delhi. He took us around to see a wide range of street art, sharing little stories behind the pieces as we wandered. JD also took loads of photos of us as a couple, which was a lovely touch and gave us memories we wouldn’t have captured on our own. Partway through, he treated us to some of his famous chai. We felt very lucky, as it was the second time we’d had it after trying it during his cooking class in the previous week. He also brought along his homemade biscuits and warm samosas, which were absolutely delicious. One of the unexpected highlights was meeting Barky, a friendly stray dog who has clearly taken a liking to JD and padded along beside us for parts of the walk. It was a relaxed, colourful and really thoughtful experience, and it ended up being the perfect way to wrap up our trip.

This tour was amazing, more people need to explore the Lodhi area of Delhi, it's so calm and green. the street art was so interesting, the Lodhi gardens were incredible! Our guide was so lovely and personable. He really knew his stuff about the art too. We enjoyed some lovely chai and snacks, with some fun animal guests turning up too. This was the tour I have been most impressed with during my time in India. Book it, you won't regret it :)

Exceptionally great tour with very motivated and dedicated tour guide. He took us through the Lodhi Art District, explained the different artworks and cultural background. He brought us chai tea and cookies, we had a great afternoon with him and regretted having booked our other tours before. Next time we will plan more activities with him, the afternoon was the absolute highlight of our trip, highly recommended!
