My wife and I did this to tour in glorious November sunshine which was guided by Leona. As food tours go, it was just perfect. A lovely balance of local tastes, knowledgeable insights on local tourist attractions / culture with an easy paced walk between each food stop. The food stops offered a lovely cross section of Czech cuisine. There was plenty to eat and drink at every stop without it ever feeling like it was too much food at any stage. All the while, Leona kept everyone entertained and informed with her very charming and relaxed delivery. In summary, bia maith, comhrá maith, lá den scoth / great food, great conversations, and a day to remember! If you’re coming to Prague and looking to do something special, we would highly recommend this experience.

My wife and I were in Prague for a few days at the end of a river cruise and went on the ‘Delicious Food Tour’ with George. Over the years we have been on over 12 food tours in various cities in the US and around the world, and this was one of the best. We went to four restaurants/cafes with a variety of Czech foods and ambiances. George talked about the foods and their backgrounds, the history and current situation of Prague and the Czech Republic, and daily life. It furthered our understanding of both Prague and its foods. By the way, it was delicious and George was a great guide.

We had a wonderful foodie tour with Leona. From the first hello we knew we were in excellent hands. She took us to four local restaurants to sample foods from the region of Prague. It was an experience as we never would have ordered those types of food. She explained the history and local customs of the cuisine. She also shared a wealth of knowledge about the country and how historical events shaped the region and customs of its citizens. I would highly recommend a tour with Leona, arrive hungry.

This was one of our first tours on our three week trip in central Europe. We had a blast there was so much food and walking and wonderful conversation. We learned a lot about Prague. We also learned a lot about history and what they like to do… Drink beer!
