5.00The tour included quite a bit of sightseeing from the comfort of our sprinter van. The driver was very safe and efficient, and our guide, Tanya, was awesome. She provided so many interesting facts and a lot of fun commentary. She pointed out a lot of key things along the ride and also lead us on several walking portions of the tour. She did a great job explaining Finland history, as well insights on the current state for the country.

2.00I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I hope this helps others. This tour was not a good experience. To begin with the van we were in had very low windows that mass it difficult to take pictures. Considering this was a mostly driving tour (pass by) most of the sights, and we passed by quickly, we got very few good pictures. Or guide was pleasant but gave us very little in the way of the historical perspective of Finland. The Oodi Library was the highlight of the tour. As an example, while at the Oodi I asked the tour guide about a sculpture across from the library and what it represented. He responded “It is art”. Based on what we saw and experienced on this tour, we would not return to Finland. We do not recommend this tour.

5.00Very knowledgeable guide. He was receptive to individual requests. Only negative- this group was hard to find in a very busy port since he did not have a sign identifying the tour. Also difficult to follow him on crowded streets. A sign or identifiable outfit would have helped.

4.00Excellent tour and covered a lot of ground. Unfortunately we lost some time due to others in the group not listening to our guides instructions about meeting points/times. Free time ended up rushed so we chose to stay in the city and make our own way back to the ship. Overall am excellent day and beats the big group tours offered by the ships

5.00Beautiful city! Our tour guide George was fantastic, informative, enthusiastic and an excellent traffic director. So to see with the little time in port. National library is breathtaking and easy to traverse.

5.00This was a great tour to see a lot of Helsinki in a short amount of time. My mom doesn’t walk much and she was still able to participate and see most of what my daughter and I got to see. We were most impressed by the public library. It was incredible!
